Review Notes: This has got to be one of my favorite cigars of all time. A beautiful looking cigar with a flawless wrapper. A smooth cigar with a rich nutty, toasty flavor. Very creamy smoke. Burn was great all the way. Only construction complaint was the draw was a little tight at the beginning, but loosened up quickly to a perfect draw. A milder cigar with lots of flavor. I would say its a medium strength smoke. These cigars are a little pricey, but they can get away with it because they are excellent. One of my favorites.

Review Notes: I just started to get into cigar smoking, and when I went to my local JR tobacco store, I asked the guy behind the counter for a good beginning smoke. He brought me over to the White, and I picked this one up. I LOVED it, and since then have smoked a variety of different cigars, and except the Padron 2-3000 series, there is nothing close to this. The upside for me was that it is very mild, easy to smoke, and no harsh flavors. I can see how someone who is used to stronger cigars would be turned off by the mildness of this cigar. The only downside is the price. At 7 bucks per stick, it is rather high. When you consider you can get a Padron 2000 for under 4 dollars per cigar. I do not have a humidor yet, so I did not get a chance to age this cigar. I will def pick up some more after I have tried some other brands. This is def. a cigar I would bring with me to a social event because I know I am going to like the mild smooth flavor

"Dissappointing for a higher end smoke"

Review Notes: This is a smaller cigar than I ususally smoke so maybe some of what I'm going to say was self inflicted (although other reviews make it less likely). First, the good: The construction on this cigar was great. Very nice light brown wrapper with only very small veins. It burned very even and it held it's ash really well. It produced tons of smoke. The draw was a little lose which may have contributed to the bad. The bad was the taste. The cigar started with a very charred taste. Finally, figuring maybe I was pulling to hard, I started to "sip" at the cigar and the taste got better. Creamy, notes of nuts and ceder but in the end the charred taste was too dominating to make this a really good smoke.

"Wasn't that Good"

Review Notes: I had been wanting to try a Monte White for some time and recently smoked one with great expectation. The cigar looks great, unfortunatley, the draw was a little tight and the taste wasn't that good. It had a few good moments, but overall it wasn't that good. I couldn't figure out what was bad about it until reading the previous review. It tasted a bit sooty and ashy. At $7 a stick will probably not try again.

"Ehh"

Review Notes: An even light brown apperance with a nice, tight roll. Burn and draw were great. Cigar started out a wonderful mild nuts.cream.tobacco and started picking up sweetness and more cream a couple of inches or so in. I was enjoying this smoke until about halfway, when it became ashy and sooty tasting. After purging, the sweet cream came back along with a little pepper, but this great taste only lasted a little bit before the ash.soot returned. I gave up after a while.
