Review Notes: Oily, flavorful, a little spicy at first and then nutty with hints of coffee. Draw was pretty good, and was great for the price. I will definitely smoke this cigar again.

"Almost a Great Cigar"

Review Notes: I normally don't buy a box of 30 cigars without having smoked at least one, but when friend who has been smoking cigars for over 15 years suggested I give this Corona a try, I was fortunate enough to find them on sale at the time and bought a box of 30. To say the least, I was very glad I did. Being a handmade smoker of only about 2 years, I haven't reached the point where I can confindently distinguish between "earthy" and "woodsy", so I'll stand by the description of one of the earlier reviewers and just go with "Oily Little Flavor Rockets". Truly, a very good cigar. fprefect

Review Notes: spicy, easy draw, dark and oily little flavor rockets. A little dash of extra pepper in these.

Review Notes: I also got mine as a part of a sampler package from a BOTL. This one surely had several years of age on it. The cigar burned perfectly all the way to the end, and also had a good draw. The flavor was surprising: creaminess combined with something that brought camphor sans bitterness in my mind. It took a while to get adjusted to, but thereafter was not unpleasant. Altogether not a bad cigar at all, although I would probably not buy these.

"Not a bad smoke"

Review Notes: I got this smoke as part of a JR Cigars Sampler. It was one of 20 Coronas. I have to admit I smoked it without storing it in my Humi mainly because I knew it was a cheap smoke and space is precious in my Humi. I was suprised by the construction very nice no soft spots the wrapper was very good. I had no problem with the draw it was very good. It burned quite evenly throughout the smoke. The ash produced was white/white-grey and dense. I was able to accumlate easily about one inch of ash while smoking. This was a very mild cigar from begining to end, which to be honest sorta surprised me. The appearnce of the cigar would suggest that it would be more of a full bodied cigar. The flavor started out peppery with a hint of nuttieness. It maintained a subdued peppery flavor throughout the smoke but about 1/4 picked up a buttery/creamy flavor that I rather liked. This buttery/creamy flavor only consitantly lasted for a short time then it would intermitantly return. This was not a complex flavored smoke but it was consistant. I would smoke one of these again.
