Review Notes: I had to put my two cents in on this cigar because yes, it is as bad as the reviews suggest. I had four of these left in my humi a few weeks ago. Smoked one of them and threw the balance away. The robusto and petite (something) were just as bad so this wasnít a big surprise. I guess ya just figure that a few years in the humidor will bring something out of a cheap but very attractive cigar. It didnít! Kevink868, the shape didnít get to me but the ďpoop flavored lollipopĒ taste did. Really a bad cigar!

Review Notes: I just can't see how anyone could like this cigar--well except for the shape, which has prompted many of my cigar novice friends to ask, "Which end do I light?" Bought these as a JR weekly special. They arrived in tubes inside a wooden box meant to resemble a book. Very impressive, really. The smokes, however, were a big let-down. There never seemed to be enough smoke, even though the draw did not seem that tight. The flavor definitely reminded me of coffee and chocolate, but not in a good way. I'm thinking more like the stale black coffee you get at 7-11 at 3:00 in the afternoon. I would describe the overall flavor as muted. Not a lot going on. I haven't been able to give these things away fast enough.

"Why, God? WHY?!"

Review Notes: I give up... The perfecto shape is an evil instrument of torture, probably invented by the same people who ban smoking in bars. The worst idea since the poop-flavored lollipop, the perfecto is designed NEVER to draw, but rather to drain your hopes and your lighter. As for Montecruz Obsequios, I had two or three that drew out of maybe a dozen. They were quite good. The other ten were an exercise in futility. Should I ever reach for another perfecto, will someone please stub a lit Inmenso on my forehead? Thank you.

Review Notes: Read a lot about the tight construction, but my box from JR didn't have that issue. They were a great tasting, 30-45 minute smoke that left me feeling pretty good. My only gripe would be the glue from the band was often on the wrapper (and with the huge bands, it was about the last 25% of the cigar) and gave it a funky taste at the end.

Review Notes: I think I popped a blood vessel trying to get a little smoke out of this obsiquio. The draw loosened up to 'tight' after the first inch or so, but by then I was getting tired. I like the look of this shape, but it is way too much work to smoke. These aren't bad tasting cigars if you don't mind working for your fix. Now I know why they were on sale!
