Review Notes:
Yeah, I knew the shape and size were a big part of the gimmick, but when I got one for $7, I had to give it a try. Now I know. Of course I won't be buying anymore, but it was a unique experience, but not one I'll be repeating. Still some positives, like the box it came in, pretty neat and it's big enough that you can keep you're pet tarantula in it. I had to smoke this one in front of people, it's not one you smoke alone. Too much fun seeing the looks on others faces, even other cigar smokers. I got lots of remarks, some were even positive. The burn and draw were much, much better than I expected. The flavor was not. By the half way mark I decided to add a little adult beverage and that helped remarkably. Overall, the egg is better than a lot of cigars out there, but that's not saying alot. Even for the discounted price of $7 a pop it's not adventure I'll be repeating.

Review Notes:
Finally got around to trying one of these. Comes in a cool wooden coffin with leaves in it, like most of Drew's boxes. Looks like just what's it called--like a rooster laid an egg in the box(but it has tapered ends attached to it). Construction of this thing is impeccable. Burns like a charm. However, the taste is nothing too amazing to write home about. The review below me hit it on the head. I'd say it's not as complex as you might have heard; sort of a mild buttery taste like what was said below. Does get a tad stronger when you get toward the bulge, and a little more complex, but this thing is mild. Definitely a "sales gimmick" type cigar, but hey, who ever said Jonathan ever did anything by the book. Worth a try just for the novelty of it.

Review Notes:
All the middling and negative reviews for this cigar are pretty fair in actuality. This is to be smoked only for the novelty of it. It's just a little TOO over the top to enjoy as anything other than that. But I've had my share of novelty cigars, and I have to say this one is actually pretty good. I was given two as a gift and I've held on to them in their shrinkwrapped single package box for quite awhile. I finally decided to light one up the other day and it's really not too shabby. Mellow, kind of a buttery texture, with a whole melange of different flavors. The reviewer below had it right..it certainly has a complexity to its flavor. It is a little unwieldy obviously and when you get to the middle you have to be careful so as not to burn your tongue with so much burning surface area. I really didn't have much problem with the burn up until the last third of it. In fact it stayed lit excellently. I had to go away for at least 20 minutes and upon returning, the thing had only burned down a little but was still live and ready to be puffed. In the end I did have to put it out slightly prematurely because the top half burned almost to a nub and I had a bottom shell of non-burning wrapper, but I kind of enjoyed the experience overall. I stress the novelty of the cigar though. Buyer beware.

Review Notes:
Ok, this cigar was the obvious centerpiece of the sampler I purchased of the Naturals. This thing was huge! Like Gurkah huge. I was celbrating the fact that my Milwaukee Brewers have pulled off a 3 win start to their season....so I am in a good mood. This gar may be benifiting from my good feelings, but I did not have the issues that other reviewers seem to have had. The burn was fine, but did require a few touch ups now and again. The flavor was very similar to the Jucy Lucy I had tried, so, it was unique. Not much flavor change and I did detect some harshness in the last 2-3 inches, but it mellowed out. All in all it was an ok smoke, not a 10+ dollar smoke, but not bad for what I got it for in the sampler. I would not buy this as a single unless it was sub 5 bucks.

Review Notes:
On a dare I tried one of these. Awkward shape, burn uneven, gimmick smoke. At $11.95 a pop this was a joke. If anything, some people might enjoy the complexity of the flavor. I found the problems with the burn alone to detract from the possible enjoyment of the smoke.
