Review Notes: personally, i didn't care for this cigar, but not to say others wouldn't like it. it was heavy on black licorice throughout, and i hate black licorice, but that's me. dark wrapper, nice burn, too loose a draw though. some coffee and chocolate.

Review Notes: I smoked a couple of "greenies" from my first bundle a few months ago, and was impressed with the coffee-mocha flavor, though unimpressed with the burn. Fast-forward three months... The flavor had mellowed, and the burn improved somewhat. Any draw issues wer easily corrected with a draw tool. For the price, I'm darned happy with this stick! Enough so that I popped for another bundle for wintertime aging stock. If they keep making 'em, I'll keep buying 'em!

Review Notes: Just got one of the old leftover batches of the original blend and there great. Its got a thick hard black maduro wrapper the screams eat me. It pack and solid all the way down and had a perfect draw. The constuction on these is near perfect and the burn and draw are excellent. It's a very chocolate flavor with a taste of nuts. It's a pertty darn good smoke, and considering the price it's well worth it.

Review Notes: Nine more months of aging has produced (in nearly half of what's left) ugly, cracked wrappers and lumpy, swelled filler. This stick was barely smokeable last night. The wrapper and filler were downright nasty looking. Very uneven burn and a tight draw. What kept this from "becoming additional lawn mulch" was the very nice flavors of coffee, mocha, and wood, with an occasional spice blast. Instead of being mostly mild this stick flashed to medium bodied at times. Sometimes a tad harsh, but, for two bucks, I feel I got my monies worth as it took 2 hours to smoke this to the nub. From what I can tell so far, Mark is right on by mentioning smoking these within the window of their (second and) sixth month of aging. NOTE: This stick scores well in the most important categories.

Review Notes: I used to smoke a lot of these from the bundle I ordered but layed off them for around 6 months. Now, it seems like the flavor it used to have has mellowed out so much that it doesn't do it for me anymore. Also, the burn is uneven on these things, probably because of the box press. I would reccomend this cigar, especially at their price, but I would smoke most of them within the first 6 months. I still have around 7 left; maybe they will be a bit better.
