Review Notes:
The first thing I noticed about this cigar is that it is underfilled, and the box press does not help. I really don't consider this to be a M aduro wrapper, I'll take their word for it. The first third of this smoke is tepid and metalic tasting, I've been told this can happen with certain soil conditions, but I do'nt care for the taste. The second half picks up a bit with a little coffee and chocolate, but not much. I got a ten pack for $25.00, a fair deal. Overall this is an OK smoke, but just barely.

Review Notes:
A good looker, box pressed with dark wrapper.Firm cut on the cap,Lit well,,I did experience some wrapper uncurling, but it did not affect the draw or burn. Pleasant taste...mild for a maduro..with an earthy main flavor. Not a lot of complexity, but enjoyable to the end, when it did strenghthen a bit.

Review Notes:
This was the first cigar I felt was box-worthy (I smoke 4-5 cigars a week, and mostly just buy samplers online). This is a beautiful cigar and extremely smooth. I paired it with coffee, but I think it would go equally well with bourbon or port. There is a cocoa quality that I really enjoy, and I particularly like the good construction. No relights, no fixes, just a perfect burn. My only complaint is that it is hard to get the band off without damaging the wrapper.

Review Notes:
The most compelling aspect of this cigar is its appearance and construction. It looked like a very expensive cigar, even though it was not. The wrapper was absolutely flawless and gorgeous. And yes, it did resemble the Padron 64 Exclusivo, a cigar I smoke regularly. As for the burn, the ash held extremely well. I intentionally lit it unevenly to see whether it would correct itself, and it certainly did. The ash held for a good third of the entire cigar.
As for the taste, it was less compelling. There were hints of complexity that I think could be brought out by some aging. It seemed very restrained in flavor--I won't say smooth, but it seemed to fight itself against any show of harshness. There was some woodiness, pepper and a showing of caramel --unevenly, though. It would appear and disappear. Not bad at all.
I have never seen such an inexpensive stick constructed so well. the cigar was perfectly firm-- just the right amount of tobacco. The look and construction alone just makes this cigar well underpriced. The wrapper and the construction were definitely top notch. Some people reported issues with the caps, but I experienced none of those issues.
People are comparing this cigar to Padron 64. In terms of flavor, I beg to differ, but it has good flavors in its own right. In terms of construction, they are about the same.
No need to compare this to Padron, though. It is a good cigar in its own right. I personally think this cigar has great aging potential. I probably will buy a box and see what it has to offer in a year. I can only imagine it getting better.
