Review Notes: CI really tries to pimp these out as an alternative to Padrons. At this point I'm sure you've read from multiple reviewers that this is a ridiculous claim. Well, you'll hear it again. It is not a Padron. In fact, I think it was irresponsible for CI to say this not only because the quality is not the same but the style isn't the same either. Though I guess the packaging is designed to look like Padrons. No matter, this is a decent smoke and I think you can get a box from CI for $50-60, so $2.50-$3.00/stick? Good flavor though actually a little lighter than most maduros and mush lighter than its appearance. Good soft black coffee taste and no bitterness. Not overly complex and lacks spice or pepper if that's what you're looking for, but good flavor and very smooth. Maybe just a little too easy on the draw which creates a slightly quicker burn and it burns a slightly uneven (though I may be unfairly comparing it to higher priced, budget busting cigars) but never annoyingly uneven so I still think it has good construction. Overall a good cigar and if you bought a box at the CI price you wouldn't be disappointed.

Review Notes: We all know about the Padronesque profile of these cigars but they are still a good solid cigar for the price and always enjoy them. I keep a dozen in my humidor always.

Review Notes: These are by no means anywhere near a Padron, but the price point makes this a worthwhile cigar. Got these in a sampler pack and this size is by far the best stick of the bunch. While the small corona and the torpedo were under filled, the toro is heavy in the hand and burns slow and cool. Cofee and chocolate are the flavors I like, and this cigar really delivers. The price I paid for the sampler pack of 15 cigars was $25.00, I don't think I would pay full price for the box. All in all, a nice little maduro.
