Review Notes: I've had much worse, sometimes I think there is a tendency to inflate cigar ratings. All cigars can't be above average. Well, this one wasn't, nor was it horrible. The taste, especially the first half, was pretty bad. It did improve the 2nd half. It looks like a hibrid with one darker wrapper than the other, not particularly attractive, again below average. The best part of the cigar (beside the price) was the burn, which was even with a good draw.

Review Notes: The Occidental Reserve Double Broadleaf (maduro), was a great smoke for under $3. Smooth, medium body, with the spice ramping up from mild, after the first inch, to noticably spicy as it burned to the first band. Went well with the coffee I was drinking. The ash was firm, medium heather gray, and held on to almost 2". A great value cigar.

Review Notes: This one is a keeper. From its rich, dark wrapper to the thick clouds fo smoke, to the absolutely enjoyable flavors, I'll be making it a point to try and always have a few of these in the ol' humidor. Chocolate, espresso, and even a distant hint of mint .... a very enjoyable smoke.

Review Notes: I don't know what these other folks were smoking, maybe I got a few duds. They had a mildewy flavor, like they were aged in a dank basement. Not like a Maduro at all. I grabbed a few to test drive them, smoked the last one after about 6 months rest. Nasty.

Review Notes: Nice dark wrapper, not too oily and few veins. Great construction is evidenced by the burn and ash - both are top-notch, and surprising for a $2-3 cigar. Flavor is medium but smooth. Nice draw. Overall, a guilt-free cigar that aficionados and novices will both enjoy. Buy a bundle and share with your buddies!
