Review Notes:
First, I admit to being a fan of Oliva cigars, so I may be biased, but I found the MB3 Churchill a wonderful cigar in every sense. I like the semi-round shape, and the construction was perfect. The wrapper is dark, smooth, oily and perfect. I did miss the traditional laser etching that MB's have had in the past. The pre-light aroma was good, plain tobacco. No surprises, but lots of promise. On lighting, I carelessly lit one of them "lop-sided" and decided to see if it would correct itself, which it did almost immediately. Lots of dense, gray smoke and a gray, salt and pepper ash that hung on until I knocked it off at about two inches. I find the MB3 smoother than the originals and slightly stronger or "heavier." The flavors were rich, creamy and varied, with hints of oak, cedar and good solid tobacco. For my budget, these are slightly over-priced, but I'll definitely buy all I can find on sale. These are as good as any cigar I've smoked and depending on personal preference in taste and aroma, these will stand up to the best from Padron, Opus, or VSG. Highly recommended. Try one and decide for yourself.
