Review Notes: Another cigar from my spending spree at the local cigar shop, this one a Olivia Orion torpedo. Ahhh, a nice big torpedo, my favorite style, 7 inches long and a 54 ring size. This one very alluring with its chocolate brown wrapper. When I purchased it, I noticed that all the ones in the box were all the same; they had little black marks all over the wrapper. The construction was fair, a tight roll, and the cap was in good shape. The draw on this cigar, unlit was good, lit it was fair. I had a hard time keeping this one lit, only during the second half. The burn also was flat even during the first couple inches, but the second half was erratic. The Orion was very smooth, but the flavors built up into a big spicy finish. I paid $7.00 for this cigar. BOTTOM LINE: I am going to buy a box of these, the perfect size for me, ok construction, nice color, good flavor, very smooth, I can’t wait to smoke another.

Review Notes: One of the new "O" series just introduced in April 2001. Medium to strong bodied. All Nicaraguan tobacco, aged 5 years. Dark, spicy, peppery, great draw that gets better as it's smoked. I tried one and liked it so much I bought a box.

Review Notes: This cigar touts 5 year old tobaccos, that alleges to rival the Ashton VSG. It comes in a box that would serve just as nicely as a executive humidor, it's that nice! The cigars are laid in two rows of 12, and these babies aren't little either. Each cigar has a red cloth embroidered band. The cigars themselves are covered in a smooth, shiny wrapper that is just glistening with oils. The only construction criticism I have is that the tips of these torpedoes are irregular and give, what would otherwise a polished presentation, a rustic look. As far as rivaling Ashton VSG's; they flavor is smoother, and more enjoyable than the pepper bomb that typifies a VSG, but be warned; these jokers are packed with nicotine laden ligero, and I still had 3 1/2 inches of cigar left to smoke when I broke out in "the sweats". I had to go lay down for 45 minutes! They are great, and an excellent value, but you have been warned!! Don't give these to rookies!!
