Review Notes:The first one of these I tried blew me away for the price. The smoke just rolls off this stick. Now it had been cured quickly at my preferred higher humidity. The second I had right out of a box I bought and did not enjoy it much. A few weeks later I went back at one with th same higher moisture content as the first and loved all over again. For $2 and some change off an auction box, this is a winner!

Review Notes:I decided to try and score these on C-bid after reading the reviews, and I was not disappointed. I thought that the box pressed appearance was very appealing, and the ashes this cigar produces are as white as I've seen in any Padron Anniversario. I use this high priced and very good cigar as a bench mark, as the taste is quite comparable, if you close your eyes and dream out loud. The flavor is complex, and yet subtle with good "nicaraguan" overtones, reminiscent of the higher end of the Padron line. Like many, I have not been that impressed with some of the others in the Oliva line, but the Series G suits me fine. The draw was good, and the burn was consistent, with no touch ups required. I would classify flavor on the medium side. Flavors like chocolate, cocoa, and spice adequately describe. Much more than your grandpas old cedar tones. I like to try different cigars, but I'll probably try and score some of these again. Great job Oliva....

Review Notes:I enjoyed a week up at Whistler in B.C. over the kids spring break, March 2008. After hitting the slopes for 4 days straight, the legs were burning. I hit the hot tub and pulled out this Oliva series G I had brought up in my Otterbox. It was just the ticket! After a few weeks in the humi it was nice and soft to the touch. The pre draw was easy and the smoke just rolled out of the thing! It was just tasty from the get go. A bit sweeter than I expected actually. The smoke was a creamy, thick pleasure that smacked of dark chocolate. Even though I was swiggin a local microbrewed Ale along with it, I could not get enough of the taste of this cigar. This one went right down til my fingers burned. I hated to put it down. And this was the longest ash I have ever managed. Even while sitting in the tub! I finally ashed it off after over %75 smoked just to avoid the drop in the hot tub. First time I searched out a box to buy of any cigar. Got at Auction for $42 box of 24!

Review Notes:I enjoyed this little guy immensely. It was very well wrapped, a little on the firm side, but not too hard.
I enjoyed it on the back porch with a glass of fresh squeezed juice. For such a dark and somewhat dull Maduro, it seemed to be very medium bodied and extremely flavorful.
Soft leathery tastes, with subtle spice but no pepper tongue. Just an easy going Maduro through and through.
I cut the cigar perfectly but again it was a little tight on the draw. After about half way through and a little chew time, it softened up and really allowed a nice draw.
I found a deal on these little guys for 2.50-2.95 here in a town and a box is extremely reasonable. This is a nice cigar to smoke when you only have 30 minutes and you're always operating on a budget.
