Review Notes: Straightforward tobacco flavor that left me craving a better cigar. The burn and draw were good, but the cigar did nothing for me.

Review Notes: This is a pretty good smoke. Nothing real great or complex. Nice straight forward flavors of leather and tobacco. Was hoping for something a little more as the stick looks real pretty. Nice aroma and good construction as well.

"Surprisingly stronger than it looks"

Review Notes: This is an attractive round (a plus) robusto with a nice dark natural colored wrapper (Ecuadorian). There is minimal veining and a nice slightly oily sheen. The bunching is slightly firm and uniform throughout the length of the cigar. The band is simple, but attractive and adds to the appeal of the cigar. I like the color schemes (not too gaudy). Prelight aroma is a feint slightly barnyard smell. Prelight draw is good and provides a light straight tobacco taste. The initial puffs give a burst of tobacco, wood and a surprising perpper kick. This cigar is stronger than it looks. Both draw and smoke volume are very good. After the few initial puffs the pepper tones quickly fade and leave a somewhat vague bland taste. Its a light woody flavor with a touch of coffee. Its amazing how quickly the pepper dissappeared. The cigar produced a solid light grey ash and burned very evenly. The aroma produced nothing discernible. There is a slight sting to it but not too strong. I felt that the cigar wanted to produce a creamy texture to the smoke, however it wasn't thick and coating enough. The finish is short and provided nothing noteworthy. Approaching the half way mark and the peppery notes rersurfaced slowly. This is definitely a pepper flavor and not a spice flavor or even a combination of both. The finish started becoming dry at the mid point in conjunction with the increase of pepper. After the mid point, the cigar picked up a strong cedar flavor which stayed thru till the end. Overall its a very well made cigar, but I felt the flavor and complexity fell short for the price.

"Strong, very leathery"

Review Notes: Construction: looked every solid, nice natural color to it. When I lit it, the wrapped unraveled slightly. Taste: my first impressions were strong, harsh and very leathery. Was like smoking a piece of leather. 2nd half stayed the same and also third similar with no extra harshness. It wasn't creamy, but definitely harsh. Complexity I found to be somewhat low and one-dimensional. I kep thinking this is very bitter, leathery, not very creamy. Burn: this was exceptional and it produced a 1" plus ash very snowy white. Draw: It's more on the medium+ range. Overall, this cigar wasn't for my taste, but I will rewrite again after aging them for a few months. I won these on CBID about 2 weeks ago.

Review Notes: Simple cigar with good flavor and a solid burn. Nothing fancy, just hits all the right places for a robusto and is a great deal at $4 a pop.
