Review Notes:
I really liked the Olivia V Torpedo, but wanted something I could smoke a little quicker. This was one of the best surprises I've had in a long time. Very flavorful, and the best light and burn I've had in over a year. Bought some more right after trying my first one.

Review Notes:
Great looks and taste, but some issues with the cap and wrapper. Would have been more enjoyable were it not for dealing with the problems, but as a freebie it revived my interest in this line.

Review Notes:
After hearing about the '94' rating, and Cigar of the Year honors, I had to jump on the Oliva bandwagon and go hunting for this cigar. Nearly impossible to find at online retailers at the moment. Luckily my B&M had a box of these, and I bought 5 sticks.
First thing to say about this cigar is how good it looks. The color and sheen are impeccable. Construction is near perfect, firm and very little give. Draw is just right, not too loose, lets you know you're smoking a packed cigar. I found this to be on the full side of medium-full. First half of the cigar, which I liked more, I tasted cocoa and nuts. Second half was a bit hotter, stronger and more peppery. Burn was perfect, held very firm silver gray ash. Smoke was not very thick, but the flavor was all there. I have a few more left, will let them rest in the humi for a while.

Review Notes:
Got a box of these during the initial launch last year. It's a thick and beautiful looking cigar with a dark, oily wrapper and a great cap. The draw is excelllent and the ash is solid; the burn can be a bit uneven but seems to have gotten better with age as the oils have settled in. It tastes good with leather, wood and caramel flavors; it's not too complex in the sense that the taste doesn't change much, but what's there is balanced and full-flavored without being overpowering. Fairly priced too, either by the box or the stick. The Olivas were going for balance and strength with these smokes, and they've succeeded.

Review Notes:
Some reviewers are calling this the "Cigar of the Year for 2007", and I can see the argument. Partly because the class of 07' cigars was weaker than usual, but it would still make a good showing in most years. The cnstruction is typical Oliva...solid and pretty to look at. The draw was nearly perfect and the burn as even as any I've seen. The flavor was not as complex as advertised. That said, I did like the flavor and found it to be mild-medium leather with nutty tones and a nice aroma. A solid hour burn too. I give this one an A- and expect the price to come down a bit after the hype has dissapated. A good 4-5 dollar cigar and a GREAT 2-3 dollar cigar.
