"A very enjoyable smoke"

Review Notes: Cedar start with a spicy finish, this very enjoyable smoke was flawed only by requiring a few minor touch ups. The Rare Estate Reserve 1992 and Super Belicoso and still my favorites in this line.

"How Do You Not Fall In Love With Perecxion?"

Review Notes: This is probably the best cigar (Cuban included) that I have ever laid my tar soaked hands on. Perfect construction, draw and most of all flavor. Really comes alive about 1/2 way down becoming more creamy with pepper notes and subtle sweetness on the lips. One of only 2 cigars I have ever used a TOOTHPICK to savor every last centimeter of stick. Do yourself a favor and grab as many of these as you can...life is too short not to enjoy these as often as possible!

"One of the Best When Aged Correctly"

Review Notes: After having burned many Opus in many sizes, I have finally gotten around to reviewing (been too busy smoking Tats: LONG LIVE PEPIN!!!). I feel my love/ hate relationship with this stick happened by not fully understanding the absolute necessity for allowing for humi time. Out of the box, with the exception of the #4 and#5, they are OK, but not deserving of the hype. When aged correctly, they belong with the best of the best. Tonight I burned PX with 3 years on it, and it was fully deserving. Construction and burn were top notch (kept at 65% humidity which seems to better the aging process and burn). Aroma and flavor were ever changing between black/white pepper, wood, leather, and subtle changes to cocoa/coffee, picking up NIC puro profile towards the end. Strength was typical powerful, but subtle, never harsh and allowing this stick to really open up. Nubbed it. My best advice is to never judge this stick right out of your local B & M. Put it down and allow it the time it needs to become what it is (Opus without aging have a tendency to show a bitter/sour side, especially in larger rings). Many aging in my humi with 2-3 years. Only drawback is that, for the price, they should not need this much time down.

"Opus gone Sour?"

Review Notes: I've had a bunch of these and they've all been pretty good. The double corona is by far the best. Lots of chocolate taste. However, this one tasted extremely sour. I could barely taste anything else. I dont know why...Any suggestions/experiences?

"Best Cigar Period!"

Review Notes: This is hands down the best cigar on the market today! The ONLY drawback with the Opus X is that greenhorns tend to have burn issues due to the fact that 1.) it has two binders, and 2.) Lighting a cigar is an art form. Most people don't know how to properly light a cigar.
