Review Notes:
This is one of the better padilla's out there. I've had about ten or so, and yes, there are some burn issues. They do get resolved with some aging. I liked this better then both the miami 8/11 and the 1932 - this one actually had taste! Nice dark oily wrapper, strong earthy taste that mellows out to a mild sweet flavor. If you can find this for around $4, buy it.

Review Notes:
This cigar looked great and had an amazing pre-lit smell, with hints of coffee and dark chocolate. It burned well all the way to the end. The draw, however, was much too tight, and the first half tasted very bitter. The second half was more flavorful and the end of it was very nice. But I really hate a tight draw, and for that reason I don't think I will be buying this again.

Review Notes:
This cigar could have been a first tier smoke if it had an average build. The draw was way too tight and it tunneled like a mole. That's really a shame, because what I was able to taste was pretty darn good. This dark stick had a mild, but flavorful sweetness that was very pleasing, with pleasant hints of licorice, and dark chocolate. I'm not a maduro lover, but I really could have gone for this one. I will admit that this one might have gotten too much humidity at one point, but it was aged a good eight months or more. For what they are asking for this cigar they should be able to build them better.

Review Notes:
I concur with Airheadmotorcycle. Serious burns problems and nasty flavor that did not improve while smoking. I have had these for many months and aging has not helped and maybe hurt. I tossed the most recent one

Review Notes:
Wrapper shows off a dark brown, almost black color with an oily appearance. Pre-light aromas of molasses, licorice and dark tobacco leaf. Has a fully packed and solid feel. Starts off with a strong and even burn, but encountered some uneven burn problems and need to relight a few times during the second half of the smoke. Ash was tight and finely layered with a tenacious hold. Flavors started out smooth but assertive with notes of leather, dark chocolate, espresso and licorice. Flavors became a bit harsh and slightly bitter during the last 1/3rd. Nice start but finish was slightly dissappointing.
