Review Notes:
I decided to buy one of these great cigars and I wasn't dissapointed. This cigar had excellent construction, beautiful wrapper, an even burn and a good flavor. This cigar started off with a minor sweetness, strong coffee flavor. As I smoked, the sweetness became more prevalent, as did an excellent pepper taste on the finish. This cigar never got a harsh taste. It was a fine cigar. Definatiely gonna buy more! This is another goody from Padron.

Review Notes:
First 1964 ever. I really liked the first third which screamed "patience" and "savor me". At first, every puff was sheer joy. This feeling faded some as the cigar became more complex, dropping a notch in the "wow" factor in the second and the sort of anti-climatic finish of this cigar. Maybe it was the size that didn't give off a ton of smoke that took away something with this cigar. I sure would have enjoyed plumes of smoke. Nuts, damp wood, earth, and other mystery flavors of a quality blend were there. It reminded me of a perfectly aged Cohiba Sligo II, without the dizzying strength. A nice cigar. I hear they age wonderfully also. But I'd take a Sligo II or an Ashton VSG over this one, since I don't have the patience to wait for years.

Review Notes:
Padron's are in a class all there own. I agree with a lot of you. These cigars are as good.... if not better then most Cubans. Perfect construction and perfect draw and even burn. I had a nice 2 inch pure white ash. Nice chocolate and peppery flavors throughout, with some hints of nuts. I'm a big fan of theie sampler packs. Awesome cigar!

Review Notes:
When I bought this it was the first one out of the box. The beautiful, box-pressed appearance coupled with the Padron name seemed to outweigh the relatively high price. When I lit this beauty I had high expecations and, let me tell you, it certainly lived up to those expectations. During the course of my nearly 2 hour smoke, I took note of the qualities that really caught my attention. This cigar has a delicious aroma and tons of thick, cool smoke. The burn was terrific, the ash white as snow. At one point the ash measured aprox. 3 inches, an indication of the superb build quality. I recommend this cigar to anyone who appreciates high-end cigars. If I can find a box of these tastey little devils I will certainly buy it.

Review Notes:
I doubt it. No Cuban I've smoked is as good as the Padron 1964, arguably the ultimate cigar. Definitely has a cocoa taste to it, and a wonderful aftertaste. When I got this one, it was the last one in the box. I guess these are hard to come by, but next time I do, I'm buying several. Would be happy to present these to friends who know a good cigar when they smoke one. My only complaint with this stick was the draw, which was a bit tight. But I could have had a small plug. However, that flaw was great overshadowed by the immense pleasure that this cigar provided.
