Review Notes:These babies taste great!
A lot of woodsy spice and leather with a remarkably clean after taste.
I wish I could afford these all the time!

Review Notes:A friend gave me one of these from his stash, and boy was I thankful. While away at a shooting competition that I had a very successful performance I treated myself that evening by lighting this one up. From start to finish what a great cigar. Pre-light aroma was the same as all the 64's I have enjoyed. Burn was even, draw was smooth and taste was superb. You just can't go wrong with the Padron 1964's.

Review Notes:I smoked this last night as a treat. It had been sitting in the humi for well over a year, and was the first 1964 I've smoked. The burn was perfect, and it had a great, nutty, medium bodied flavor. It was a little ugly, to be perfectly honest. A bit veiny, it looked like it was about to come unraveled in certain spots, and didn't have the lively, oily wrapper that the maduros I have possess. Anything this cigar lacks in appearance, however, is more than made up in flavor and construction. I highly recommend this as a special occasion smoke.

Review Notes:This cigar sat for at least a year or two before I finally found a good day to try it. Unfortunately age wasn't too kind to it, even stored with a bunch of other Padrons, Trinidads, Gurkhas, etc. It started out toasty with a medium+ body but the first half was overburdened with nicaraguan earthiness and a bit dry (in a champagne way). The second half was a lot better with a leathery warm tobacco tone and vastly improved balance. Moral of the story, don't let them sit for too long!
