Review Notes: The Padron 1964 Anniversary is truly a luxury cigar representing the pinnacle of smoking achievement. The toothy wrapper exudes slick oils. Upon lighting it opens with a burst of black pepper followed by a rich earthly core. About half way through the core flavor switches suddenly to a toasty taste. The are only two problems with this cigar. Because it is so small it burns a little hot toward the end making it a bit harsh, and the high price prevents this from being the perfect cigar. Every cigar lover must try this at least once, especially when frustrated with other boring nasty cigars out there.

 Review Notes: I rate by flavor. This is the best cigar I've had (80 varieties in the humidor). It's pricey, but you must smoke at least one so you can judge all others.

 Review Notes: Don't let the small size fool you, this little guy holds a lot of flavor. I was quite pleased with this cigar: slow burn, lots of smoke, and tasty flavor. Required a couple of minor touch-ups, though.

 Review Notes: Time and time again, I can't get enough of the Principe. I can't decide if I like the Nats or the Maddies more, but these smokes are truly a treat. Very smooth and delicious to the nub. Consistently, far better than any other vitola out there. I was finally able to get a box of the Nats for my birthday, and found they were nearly perfect 3 months out the block. I am curious to see how they do with time, but I will find it hard for them to improve from this point on out.

 Review Notes: First off, let me say that the construction of this cigar was perfect. Perfect draw, perfect burn, wouldn't ash in the first 1/2 if you smacked it on a table. Flavor wise, I prefer the 1926s in the natural...the natural 64s don't have that same richness that the 64 maduros seem to have. Seemed relatively mild compared to what I have been smoking lately. Smooth, somewhat creamy, woody flavor that lacked real richness. Don't misunderstand me, a very good cigar, just not as flavorful as I hoped.
