"Big taste in a small package"

Review Notes: A small, nicely pressed cigar with a smooth, chocolate-brown wrapper. It has a slightly uneven burn but an excellent draw that produces lots of aromatic, cedary smoke. From the first puff, you're treated to rich, smooth, and balanced flavors of dark chocolate and coffee with some earth and wood notes. A creaminess compliments these flavors half-way through. The finish is likewise creamy with a hint of spice, but is a bit short compared to the bigger sizes in this line. Also, due to the small size it burns a little hot at the end (you WILL be smoking this down to the nub), but the flavor is so good you probably won't mind. While relatively expensive, I still consider this cigar to be good value--it's the least expensive in the line and still offers the robust flavor that the Padron Anniversaries are known for.

Review Notes: This little tike will reaffirm your belief that size doesnít matter. From the beautiful box pressed construction, and the suede wrapper, to the draw and flavor, this stick redefines the concept of a good cigar. Theyíre pricy, and a bit hard to find, but what a treat when you do. The refined character and subtle nuances lead this cigar gracefully into the top tier of all time best cigars. The Principie is well behaved, and the flavors were balanced and elegant. Though itís small, you wonít ever be ashamed to light up a Principie. No matter what they say about the size, itís the smoke that counts.

Review Notes: Just wasn't blown away by this one. Didn't have that dark chocolate "specialness" the maduros have. Was still a nice cigar, just nothing exciting. Experience takes a hit due to disappointment factor.
