Review Notes: There is a very good reason why these bad boys are so hard to find. This cigar draws you in from the beginning, and doesn't let go until the finger burning end. Tons of smoke, complex flavors, excellent burn, and constantly evolving as your progress. If you can find one buy it, I know its pricey, but you just can't get a great steak at the sizzler.

"Too much for too much."

Review Notes: I'm afraid I'm going to have to be mediocre reviewer number one. The cigar was good; it was toasty, filled with complex flavours, and had a magnificent construction and ash...however, if the 64 maduro torpedo was $25, I'd buy it over the 40th. Comparing the 64 maduro torpedo and the 40th maduro torpedo is interesting. The 40th is like, as mentioned before, an opusX version of the 64. The 40th is muy powerful, and therefore must be smoked differently from the 40th. To me, in the end, the power over spoke the flavour, and I was left with nothing more than a buzz I could've gotten from chewing tobacco. Maybe in a few years...

Review Notes: I pulled this one out of the humi' after it been resting for 2 months. The draw was a little tight but you could still experience the complex flavors. After clipping it twice and taking another draw, I was speechless. Clearly the best cigar I've smoked this year. Even better than the Cohiba Siglo VI. As I'm writing this I'm down to the last third. Again I'm speechless.

Review Notes: After smoking my 5th 40th Anniversario I've decided that this will be the cigar i compare all others too. This thing is the bomb...I get excited anticipation thinking about smoking another...easily an hour long smoke. always burns even, easy draw with a perfect white ash that sticks for 1.5-2". Flavor explosion. Heavy hitter with strong dark chocolate, coffee and toast flavors...its like smoking thanksgiving dinner..unreal...gets significantly more intense in the last 1/3. The price is worth it..but i wish it were less expensive

Review Notes: The area just before the cap was wrapped too tight to get a good draw. Once I put a poker through it to open it up, it was second to none.
