Review Notes: Bought it for $30 hoping for anything close to the hype. I've had better $6 sticks. Nothing complex or thought provoking about this on AT ALL. No thanks.

Review Notes: Finally broke down with this stick, more as a novelty to check off my long "hit-list". Didn't feel it was worth the price-tag, it definitely didn't live up to my expectations, or the hype. Flawless construction with a good finish. I don't think this one even measure up to the flavor profile of other serie 1926's. It was by no means bad, but after reading the reviews, I wish I would have grabbed the natural instead.

Review Notes: 1st 3rd: I paid $33 for this? Construction to die for (name a Padron Anniversary without awesome burn/draw)...But where's the beef? 2nd: that Padron flavor begins to assert itself, but seems too timid. Have I become too jaded? I must agree with borndead1's review. 3rd: Smoked it down to 1", did not get much better. A good (not great) $15 cigar. Go for the 1926 40th for this money.

Review Notes: Perfectly creased box pressed lines. Solid as a rock construction, only flaw (sarcasm) being that the ash flaked off every half inch or so. After a few initial puffs, there is just as much smoke coming out of the head as the foot. Pretty much razor sharp burn. Clipped about a sixteenth of an inch off the head. Starts off with a very peppery rich tobacco taste that hits the pallate all over. After the first ash a coffee and sweet nutty taste develops. Every puff has a long persistent finish. The rest of the cigar I paired it with an Oregon Pinot Noir which smoothed out the pepper. This cigar forces you to draw on it gently, otherwise smoke will be coming out of your ears. Rest of the way just laid back and enjoyed a sip of cigar and then a sip of wine and vice versa. Finished off down to a quarter inch with a smooth woodsy/spice combo. Maybe one puff from the whole cigar had even the slightest tinge of bitterness.
