"Worth $26? Maybe."

Review Notes: This is one of the finest smokes I've ever had. It appears small but is so tightly packed that it will burn very slowly and evenly and for quite some time. The amazing thing is that it still maintained an excellent draw throughout. Those Partagas guys sure know what they're doing. I picked up one of these for $26, and at that price it was worth it to try but I wouldn't buy any more at that price. If you get the chance, pick one up.

"One of the best"

Review Notes: Big and beautiful, this cigar has a dark and flawless wrapper. While the draw is a bit loose, it puts out a huge amount of smoke, the burn is excellent, and forms a nice ash. Lots of leather and bitter dark chocolate right from the onset, it's joined by some cream and nuttty pistachio flavors later on; full bodied in the sense that the flavors are robust, but it's far from overpowering as it's still smooth and balanced. Great now, it seems that it can even get better with some age. It's expensive, but it delivers what you'd expect from a $20 cigar.

Review Notes: If there is a non-cuban worth $23.00, this is it. Maybe the best cigar I have ever smoked. Certainly the best non-cuban by far. Beautiful, expertly made and delicous... I know what I will be asking Santa for...?

"Legalize Cubans!"

Review Notes: Legalize Cubans ... then Padron 64's and 26's will be easier to find. First of all, I am a huge Padron fan; there is nothing better out there--from any country. The no.1 1926 maduro is the best smoke I have had (I am finishing one right now), and it is worth the money when compared to the 64's. It is not blow your mind better that the 64's, but it is subtly better and worth the money. The only Padron I have yet to smoke is the 40th Anniversary. My girlfried and I have a pair stashed for our anniversary. The draw here is a bit loose, kind of like the regular line 3000's; but if you are gentle, it smokes just fine and delivers a huge amount of delicious smoke. If you like Padrons--or like cigars--this is a must smoke. Just make sure you have the time and place to thoroughy enjoy it. This is a sit in the living room smoke, not a bar cigar; you must not have any distractions that will interfer with the experience. Have some great bourbon (Baker's neat is my choice, or whatever floats your boat), light up and enjoy. Also, screw those people who bring down the ratings because they are cheap and rate the Value as 1.

"Appreciation"

Review Notes: Smoking one right now. From the beginning of my cigar smoking days until last week I would only smoke Cubans, prefering them over all else. Yet this 'gar changed my mind altogether! Low on funds, I have managed to scrounge up enough money each day for the last week to fulfill what has now become an addiction. Padron 1926 #1 is #1! Cohiba Sublimes #2, and the rest are difficult to determine! In fact, if you can afford it, I recommend the 1926 40th Anniversary 'gar. There is something so peculiar yet remarkable about these Padrons, something inexplicable, mysterious, yet ultimately they are the superlative of beauty!
