Review Notes: One thing for me is how to smoke/draw this incredible speciman Coax this baby along. Great flavors throughout. Spiceness; coffee; wood; and strength. This cigar is stronger than you think. If I had a choice of a box of these or a box of series d#4 Id take these. Thank you.

"Respected, but not praised"

Review Notes: This cigar has perfect construciton, no doubt about it. Light oily sheen, hard as all get out, uniform, and a perfect burn. Starts out strong and peppery w a light-grey and white marbled ash. Turns medium-bodied and smooth halfway through until the end. Refined, but not complex in my opinion. Flavors and aromas of wood and dark coffee dominate over hints of nuts, cocoa, and frequent flutters of a welcome lemony citrus. I enjoyed this cigar (much like the '64 ani. i smoked at its introduction), but was not nearly blown away, and am not compelled to buy another win my opinion of its value.

"Bad boy cigar"

Review Notes: I agree with the reveiwer "who's your daddy" in the third from the bottom of the 4th page of reveiws..."IMHO better than an Opus X". I have been finding both '26s and '64s to be consistently much better at this point in time, and I'll tell you that as of right now, the dealer's shelves are stocked, a great time to buy a few (boxes) of these cigars that will be judged as classics in the future. (sorry for the rant!) I really liked this cigar in Maduro, and I find that though I like their "blacker than a banker's heart" wrappers, I seem to prefer the natural...not in this cigar! It starts while still making the tiny puffs you take while lighting it up! No break-in period for this model! Starts very aggressive and stays there until the last finger burn you can take. I also am having a hard time with the fact that while in my boxes of ISOMs I will find inconsistencies galore, almost expected, but the entire Padron brand has never once tossed me a less than steller draw on any of their sticks. The cigar feels as hard as a brick, yet still draws as effortlessly as could be. When the initial spiciness started to make way to an even better woody stage was when the cigar was at it's peak for me, but...while the second half was much more pnounced in it's woody notes, the peak stayed til the end. One more thing...it's so incredible today to be able to smoke cigars that could make it alone just on the sheer depth of their tobacco flavors, and this is one of them. When the spices, the coffee, the woodiness just intensifies the brilliant blend.

Review Notes: What a great cigar! Starts off a little slow, but kicks in real quick. There is a great array of flavors and the aroma is smooth as silk. This cigar is great with a good expresso. Definitely one for special occasions!

"Wait for it..."

Review Notes: Starts out rather plain, which was a little surprising. Some spice, but nothing extraordinary. Perfect burn though. About a third of the way in the flavor intensifies, a woody base with an exotic, slightly sweet edge to it. At the halfway point the flavor kicks into high gear-- a huge volume of smooth smoke with every puff and an aroma that is hard to describe. It's delicate, but it isn't overcome by the strength of the cigar. Made me weak in the knees. A top of the line smoke for special occasions.
