Review Notes: This is a great cigar as are the other sizes of the Serie '26 blend. To me the No. 6 was full body w/ hearty flavor. The draw was loose and burn was razor sharp. For you readers who are on the fence because of the price, I can't recommend a better vitola. It is stunning. Yes, these cigars are pricey but they are worth it. Some prefer the PAM '64 over '26, but I think that's just a matter of taste. Both are extremely fantastic smokes.

Review Notes: But, maybe there are other cigars that I like more. The 1926 #6 is right on in every aspect. Build was great, heft was great, draw was perfect. Smoking it, the flavor was pronounced and really complicated in a good way. As Georgerp wrote below, it smelled like food. I can't imagine smoking these frequently for the same reason that bowl after bowl of caviar for breakfast doesn't sound so good -- and that's why I'd say they're a good value: smoking these too often would be too much of a good thing.

Review Notes: Very good looking cigar. The taste was pepper.coffee.cocoa. It seemed less refined than the '64s, but more powerful. Burn and draw were near perfect. These aren't cheap, and for the price I'd go with a '64.. They still are top notch.

Review Notes: Having "discovered" the anniversary series Padrons in not a healthy thing for my bank account. Been marching though the series like the motorized cavalry through southern Iraq.. fast and with little regard for economic issues. I smoked a 64 Imperial Maddie driving to Akron this morning. Had the 1926 # 6 maduro on the way home in a snow storm. A full hour of pleasure mitigated by some cursing at slow trucks. These are such refined smokes. If you light them properly they burn perfectly. These are a notch below their non maduro brothers and one above the 64 maduros for me. A little tighter draw and a little more flavor than the 64's, a little less caramelly than the non maduro #6's. They are all great cigars.

"The best."

Review Notes: After smoking my first 1964 maduro, I had to buy a box. Every cigar in the box (or any Padron, so far) was as good and consistent as the next. Great appearance, construction (perfect medium draw), flavor and as always consistent burn (an occasional re-light but never uneven). With great flavor and never bitter I have burned my fingers on every one. Take your time and enjoy this one. It may be in the more expensive category but worth it. If you find you like this cigar try its more mature cousin, the 1926 maduro No. 6. Aged for 5 years instead of 4 itís even smoother and more flavorful, with all the same great qualities that come with a Padron.
