Review Notes:
I would choose this cigar over many Cubans I've smoked. Great burn, nice peppery ash, and it has that wonderful spicy flavor. I will definitely pick up another box of these, maybe in maduro.

Review Notes:
This stick was nicely balanced as it got more tastey 1/4-1/2 down the stick. Nice Peppery taste... probably the least complex Padron, but great value. Couldn't tell the difference between the Maduro and the Natty in wrapper shade. Highly recommend everyday smoke w/ the other thousands line...

Review Notes:
its a great package, a 5 x 50 box pressed robusto with a firm kick at a bargain. what i did not anticipate was for this cigar to posess the same quality of outstanding contruction as a Padron 1964. A beautiful stark white ash that breaks only once. Easy light, consistent burn, voluptious smoke, effortless draw (especially notable as it is boxpressed). Enjoyable to the nub. Smooth oily wrapper. Taste wise: its a straightforward Nicaraguan puro, lots of spice and bight, dark and earthy. Sort of stalwart and austere, which i think is great for a 4 dollar smoke, but does not cut it for a $15-20 Padron 1964. I would be curious as to how this cigar would age. Also, since it is such an inexpensive, straighforward, heaty cigar, i want to try dipping the heads in a little bit of rum next time, like my good Cuban friend does with his grandfather's homemade cigars. Makes for a sweeter and more aromatic smoke.

Review Notes:
These are inexpensive, are full-flavored with a great taste, burn well, look great, and are inexpensive. Padron could probably charge 1.5X as much as their current MSRP and it would still be a very good buy. Frankly, this is the ebst non-cuban cigar mnufacturer around today because all of their products are consitently good.

Review Notes:
A nice smoke considering this is one of the cheaper Padron’s. I was not expecting much, but got a nice surprise. This is a good smoke. A bit of a canoe problem on the burn but I can live with that for an inexpensive smoke that has a lot of spice and flavor. I can only imagine how much better the more expensive Padron’s will be. I may have to break my $5.00 rule for this brand.
