Review Notes: The construction on this gem is excellent, with a robustly cocoa and spicy start. After a bit it turned toasty and oaky with a medium intensity and stayed that way past the band. Excellent value, excellent burn, definitely worth buying more!

Review Notes: This is my second favorite Padron (just behind the 1964 Exclusivo for $12.00) For the money, the 2000M is hard to beat. Great flavor and burn...just doesn't last quite long enough. This is my go to cigar.

Review Notes: I received these around a month ago and was tempted to enjoy one right away but I forced myself to hold back and let them age and stabilize a little more in my humidor. The cigar had a slightly oily, medium-dark brown wrapper and overall looked quite attractive. Usually I prefer a longer cigar (i.e. the padron 3000, my current favourite) but decided to give these a try. It was a pretty solid smoke without any noticeable soft spots or lumps that took away from the overall appearance - though the cap, like many other padrons, was poorly made. There was also the tiniest crack about 2/3 up the body of the cigar from the foot but I disregarded that at first. Upon lighting the cigar, the first puff was a tad bland but the second truly delivered. It had that classic Padron taste with rich, earthy notes and I even detected slight, very slight, notes of very dark coffee - perhaps burnt a little. It was a really smooth smoke and wasn't harsh at all, even until the end - though the flavours did becomes more robust. This cigar was moderately powerful to the throat and some puffs were like taking gulps of liquid smoke. Hmm one concern. The little crack I mentioned earlier actually a big crack as I smoked this cigar (it swelled and softened a little). It didn't affect the flavour too much but it was distracting and visually unappealing. Personally, this was quite an enjoyable smoke but I definitely prefer the 3000 of this one. BTW, there was a slight aftertaste - tolerable but not the best ever.

Review Notes: Nice cigar, but not a great burn, fairly uneven and had to fight it the entire time. The smoke was smooth and good, great construction and taste, but not as full bodied as I expected. Towards the end was still good, but the burn really distracted me.
