Review Notes:
Started out quite nice, fairly peppery initially. Mellowed out to a very pretty maduro 15 minutes in. Pretty nice construction--wrapper looked quite appetizing and came through. Good amount of smoke--not an easy draw, but far from difficult--quite rewarding, in fact. A very well balanced, well rounded, full cigar. And with the price? Legendary.

Review Notes:
The cigar showed a dark and oily maduro wrapper, but the slightly misshapen and lumpy stick felt dry and papery to the touch. It had a springy roll and looking at the foot revealed a nice mixture of filler tobaccos. Typical to Padrons, the cap was loosely attached, peeled away very easily and slipped under the cutter. The band was simple brown print on glossy paper.
A waft of burned waxed paper and a spicy bite at the first puff, but that was just a quick taste and then the real flavor punched through. Tasted good, with a hint of Virginia pipe tobacco and some green – like spruce. The cigar was full bodied and powerful, but a raw edge gave the impression of a narrow band of flavor. Lots of smoke boiled forth and the aroma was crisp and festive, like an exotic bazaar, spicy and fresh. The finish had a slightly sour note similar to pipe bite, but not too bad. The even and well paced burn was excellent.
Accompanied with a glass of ice water, this Padron lacked the complexity of the 2000s I smoked just a couple of years ago. However, towards the end I did get a more powerful impression of mocha and toasted coffee which made it end on an up note. Easy to smoke with a nice draw and a good feel.
Overall this was a good, well turned out Nicaraguan cigar. Not awesome, but respectable. Not quite as complex as I’d have liked to see, but a very good value for the money. Recommended.

Review Notes:
well don, a ave expeced and received from 99.9% of all past Padrons....chocolateand gingerbread loose dra, burns hot at thenub, only drawbacks but padron trademarks. Got 5 spankng new 6000's --heads up these are new Torpedo's in the regular line. Theyappear to be 5.25-5.5 by 52-54, and cost me 6.75 apiece, but I got a free on extra for being a good customer. These rule, but don't quite beata 5000.

Review Notes:
Bautiful looking robusto with chocolate colored maduro wrapper. One very fine vein. Toasted the foot well and it sparked up easily and evenly. Draw was perfect, all the way down. Burn was perfect as well. Nice smooth light gray ash that linked to hang around. Taste was medium with some maduro character, billows of smoke. Padron's maduro wrappers are the epitome of understated excellence without the harsh edge I get from some other manufacturers. Paired up very well with a porter. Box buy you bet.

Review Notes:
Padron is just plain consistent. This one reminds me of the Delicias a bit--but is a good medium strength smoke. Hints of chocolate after halfway through. Well built--even burn--not too slow. Overall, nothing to get thrilled about but solid.
