Review Notes: When my Padron 2000 Maduros first arrived, I couldn't wait to smoke one. The first was very good, but I thought I'd let the rest age a bit before passing judgment. Now, they've grown to be an excellent smoke. Upon first light up, I got a strong hit of flavor, like knocking back an espresso in one gulp. Not the full coffee flavor, per se, but a full blast of great, strong flavor. After about half an inch or so, it transitioned into light pepper/spice for a while, then came back to a light but distinct toasted coffee flavor with traces of sweetness, staying consistent all the way down to the nub--never a trace of bitterness or harshness. Burn and draw were both excellent, with a strong ash as well. The appearance is quite nice, although not quite as perfect as the Padron Anniversaries I have in the humidor. But then the 2000 costs only about a third as much. With a 50 ring, this is a touch bigger than I prefer. I have a fistful of Maduro Padron Delicias aging in the humi, and at a ring size of 46 they are my preferred size. I hope they turn out to be just as good. If they aren't, the 2000 will convert me to the ranks of Robusto smokers.

Review Notes: 6 months in the humidor really knocked any rough edges off this cigar.I had one today and the draw,burn and ash were perfect as usual.But the flavor was even better and it was smoother than the 1926 I had recently!It was almost as good as the "1964 Exclusivo Maduro"!

Review Notes: Good mild cigar with a toasty flavor. Burned unevenly though, and I had to re-light it a couple of times. Still a good inexpensive cigar.

Review Notes: Why pay five times as much, worry about customs, plugged cigars and fakes when you can get a nice, chocalatey, perfect-drawing and right but not too strong Padron that smokes perfect and is always available at your local tobacconist for 3-4 dollars a pop? a great smoke and value!
