Review Notes: My only Padron so far (ok, smoked 23 of these during last couple of months but still). IMHO it ALWAYS takes 0,5-1 inch (dep. on size) for MORE than 9/10 cigars before they Start/Begin/Open up/Catch fire/Shows what have to offer, etc. I'M SHOCKED - I've tried about 200 different sticks - THIS ONE'S exceptional because it tells you right away: Here we go!! Smoooth & Creamy cocoa, coffee, chocolate, bit of leather and slight spice! Burn is also pretty nice. BEST dark "natural"- wrapper I've met!

"Top Tier Smoke At A Decent Price"

Review Notes: The regular Padron line is generally speaking an insiders smoke. Not available just everywhere, but priced to not exclude anyone who seeks a good handmade. That said, I find the regular line is still more consistent in quality than the usual mid-line premium names, but not always as tried and true as the Anniversary series. That makes sense for any number of reasons, but perhaps the most compelling reason is that if you buy the Anniversary Series you are many times buying by the stick and you just don't want to get the occassional "off" smoke. I'm here to say that in the regular Padron line that line is more blurred with the "Executive" profile as I've always experienced the signature Padron creamy blend of coffee, mocha, cedar, leather, and, here, a bit of spice. The construction is a bit softer than the Anniversary by design. And, it draws like a dream - not too easy to be hot or burn fast however, just right. The wrapper is beautiful and the construction super so it almost never requires adjustment. Not much more I can say except "highly recommended"!

"Great cigar. Every time."

Review Notes: I was lucky enough to pick up a box of these on eBay for around $100. I had smoked some 1964 Anniversarios, which found to be excellent cigars, with a kind of sophisticatedly subtle flavor profile. When I smoked my first Padron Executivo, I was surprised at how similar the taste and smoke was to the pricier Anniversario. No note was overpowering; rather there were chords of creaminess, cocoa, leather, and the lightest touch of white pepper, conjoining in harmony, with absolutely no bite.

"An Old World Gem"

Review Notes: For the longest time I avoided the traditional Padron line of cigars. No idea why. But after trying more than a few recently, I really must say that I think they deserve their high marks. The roll is truly old-world and obviously hand-made. Excellent draw with a wonderful soft feel in hand (I hate "hard" cigars). Lots of sweet rich aromatic smoke. The signature Padron flavor of sweet coffee and chocolate is evident. A great hour or more of pleasure. Yum. No this is not a high-brow super-premium smoke with a ridiculously high price tag. Leave that stuff for people who don't have a clue. Instead, this is a wonderful, full flavored, gently sweet, delicious cigar that can be enjoyed on a regular basis. A real cigar smoker's cigar If you are a traditional cigar lover - try a few. I think you will be happy.
