Review Notes: Again, I'm not a huge Maduro fan, but this was not a bad maddie. Padron usually makes a pretty good maduro, though not every kind has a very rich taste. The Palmas are mild, sweet with a touch of cocoa. A pleasant, if not dynamic, experience. I'd buy again if I can get the same price.

Review Notes: The cigar looked good: medium brown- a bit light for a maduro wrapper. Not lmpy, loose, tight, no abundance of veins. Typical Padron quality. Immediately, I was taken aback by the high amount of spicy taste. I couldn't taste anything but dirt, and that continued throughout the smoke. I felt obliged to smoke it to see if anything emerged, but I ditched it wityh abuot 2 1/2" left. Not enjoyable, especially for something that cost over $1. I was let down by the cigar. I will have to think long and hard prior to buying another Padron.

Review Notes: I bought this cigar for $2.50 at a local News-stand/cigarshop. The appearance was a little rustic, but I liked the little curly-cue head. Turned out to be a medium-bodied, smooth, mellow smoke, with some notes of cocoa and coffee bean. It was perfect for being at a picnic in the park on a scourging summer day. If you can get these at about $1, which you probably can on cigarbid, I would say this is a good, reliable everyday smoke...as all the Padron regular line smokes are. They are also great to hand out to friends who are not Aficianados. Good even burn, good draw, good balance.
