Review Notes: Black. Smooth draw.Cool.Back of my throat burned the first couple of minutes.After that I could smell inscense.I stopped reading the paper and focused on smoking.I tasted licorice, oranges.It's all there, a complex mix of the exotic, tropical.I paid alot, more than the average.Then I bought 4 more and took them home for a nice rest.

Review Notes: Although I have generally settled on stronger maduros, I was attracted to the look of this reddish wrapper. I was not let down...a very high quality smoke that tasted great and produced billows of smoke with a decent draw. The only weakness: in the three I have enjoyed over the past weeks, they all exhibited a tendency to burn unevenly after the first 2/3...something I'm not accustomed to. However, I resisted touching-up w/my lighter and eventually the uneveness was resolved by the cigar itself, although this did visually take away from an otherwise great cigar experience. I will be adding a box to my stash.

Review Notes: Well, she's pretty ugly, with big veins in the wrapper leaf. This si about the 3rd one I've smoked & they've all been like this. Nice & oily though, & very dark. Full bodied, but very smooth, with some leathery, woody aspects in the 1st half. The 2nd half picks up a nice mid level sweetness. Not like the sweet high notes of Dominican tobacco, or the deep sweetness of Nicaraguan tobacco, but somewhere in the middle, & very pleasant. Too bad about the rustic appearance, cause it's gonna hurt the score a bit. The burn was a little off because of the thickness of the wrapper, but the draw was just fine.

Review Notes: Shake it out of the tube,and you know you're in for a good smoke.A Rich, black wrapper with a nice oily sheen. A large ring gage, and firm roll give you a nice, long,satisfying smoke. nice even burn, with a firm but not tight draw.Notes of sweet licorice,coffee,and wood,the flavors are well ballanced.The taste reminds me of a La Pearla maduro, only with twice the cigar, and 3.00 less a stick.Value, Flavor,and double the smoke time. Oh yea, the bonus?... The wife loves the aroma, so guess witch cigar gets burned in the house? It's my Syracuse winter smoke.
