Review Notes:
Not sure exactly which of these beauties I smoked, but seeing as this one seems to fit what I had best I will assume it is the one. Great construction, it did not look like anything special, and the size and color were deceiving; this was no light cigar(not that i wanted it to be). A little harsh at the light, but the rest of the smoke was excellent(though I think humidor time would do it some good). I'll have to try another one of these in the future.

Review Notes:
Every once in a while, when smoking a good cigar, the revelation of why you smoke them hits you. Often it's the other way, where your watching the ash splinter, or your figuring out why it's not burning right, or trying to keep the wrapper together, etc. Not with these little beauty queens. When you smoke it, you think, this is why I love this habit so much, to find one of these. Enjoyment from beginning to end. Sophisticated flavor, smooth with great flavor and impeccable construction. it's like hitting a great golf shot, it just keeps you coming back for more. Enjoy.

Review Notes:
Partagas claims the rich taste of their cigars comes from the finest genuine Cameroon wrappers. I will not put up an argument. A very tasty and smooth smoking lonsdale, box pressed into a perfect square. Excellent roll and draw with a dead even burn. A handsome brown Cameroon wrapper. Straight- forward, but not overpowering tobacco flavor, accompanied by a hint of toast and leather. Smokable down to the last couple of inches. A fine smoke for around 4 dollars.

Review Notes:
Upon lighting and letting it settle, a beautiful pure tobacco taste comes through. Nice smooth, and simple, nothing flashy. I paired it with an Oban 14 year old. The Oban 14 is slightly sweet and simple. Surprisingly, they kind of stood on their own, never really pairing like I thought they might, but no real complaints. The middle third was slightly buttery possibly due to the Oban but still a nice tobacco flavor throughout. I moved to a Glenlivet French Oak and that was a great match - it provided the body that was missing previously in the pairing. This held well through until the last third which progressed into a nice surprisingly spicy finish. All in all a nice smoke which developed nicely.
