Review Notes: Classy cigar indeed. Id say about $5, per stick, of the price is in the packaging, Beautiful box that can be used as a desktop humidor or some kind of wood decoration. My kids like to use the glass tubes to collect insects. The ONLY problem I found with this cigar was the Draw. It was a little stiff. Other than that it was great, had a perfect burn with a white ash that hung on for dear life, Smooth as silk and as flavorful as any of the best I’ve had. Smoked this one all the way down past the 1 inch mark and wanted to keep going.....I just ordered a box with a larger ring gage hoping that it might have a better draw. If it does, they will be one of my favorite special occasion cigars for years to come.

Review Notes: Density's review is very similar to my experience. The first reviewer obviously works for the competition...or should LOL. That review is the worst I've seen and does not reflect an authentic cigar of this review. Perhaps you had a fake? Dunno, but none of it makes sense for the cigar I just smoked. Construction and appearance were perfect on my smoke. The only reason I chose to check the reviews here tonight is because the flavor of the cigar...very mild at first is striking! I quickly builds to such a strong cappuccino flavor that is unbelievable. Esspresso and cream in perfect match...for a cappuccino. Very original flavor that struck me as so odd I am willing to post about it. If you don't like coffee...don't even think about smoking one of these. If you love coffee, you will rate the flavor higher than I do.

Review Notes: First let me say, that I AM aware of the marketing strategy regarding cigars with so much hype, but maybe I thought that a brand like Partagas would have enough pride and integrity to live up to that hype and hey, I was feeling adventurous...but here are just SOME of the reasons why you shouldn't even TRY one....Paper thin wrapper-only took 10 minutes and 34 seconds to reach the halfway point (after realizing how thin the wrapper was, yes I DID time it), and I don't even smoke that fast. There were severe problems with the evenness of the burn, which with all my long experience smoking cigars, I could not fix (and Ironically to my suprise in the final third it somehow fixed itself from a full inch difference on opposing sides!) first half was very bland til halfway when some nice spicey flavors began to emerge, then shortly disappeared to my dismay...almost no aroma throughout....I just finnished smoking this...thing....(21 minutes and 17 seconds from start to finnish)and am currently guzzling mouthwash to get the stale "bong-water" flavor out of my mouth- EEECH!! Overall a very disappointing experience, don't waste your money.....I've had several vintage smokes by lesser known brands such as the Cusano 18 paired maduro (for example) that were simply sublime. BTW, I gave it a 3 for construction due to the nice triple cap.

Review Notes: The wrapper on this cigar is dark, veiny, toothy, and oily; I've never seen Cameroon wrapper this dark. It comes beautifully presented in a glass tube; unfortunately, the cigar appears much smaller when taken out. Although the draw is somewhat firm, it has a very good burn. This is a very smooth smoke filled with coffee and bittersweet chocolate flavors, and a charry taste that isn't bitter. Some kitchen spices appear towards the end. Very expensive, but definitely an elegant and classy medium bodied smoke.
