Review Notes: Let me first state that i collect and age cigars to smoke later on in life, but when i find one as good as this, i must indulge. Like smoking crack (never did that) but i could not stop smoking this one. I bought several more and did the same of the next couple of days. Went back to Don Juan in B.R. and bought a whole box full to put away. So far i have left those alone. Need to buy more of these when i get back to shop. Lots of smoke, great pre-light aroma. Chewy, fine construction. Would highly recommend to an experienced smoker. Not for the unexperienced. Great with MacAllen FINE OAK... Indulge when you get one.

Review Notes: I smoked a LR Decadas #3 that was a little hard to draw on so I bought a IV hoping it would be less labor some to smoke. I was right. The IV had an effortless draw yet was firmly packed. Had to correct a slight track midway but it was no biggy. This smoke was dripping with flavors however those great tastes where somewhat obscured by some mild harshness ( lol sorta sounds like a oxymoron doesn’t it) , especially just passed the midway mark. Considering the slight track and the, shall we say, abrasiveness of the smoke, Im going to have to sentence this cigar to 30 days minimum in the cigar lockup, stark naked ( de tubed ). We’ll see if I get my moneys worth after that.

Review Notes: The first real cigar I ever smoked was the first edition of the Partagas LR in 1995. Set a high bar for cigar smoking since. Have been looking for a similar smoke with almost no luck since, but this is almost it. To my taste, this is almost a perfect cigar. It was slightly inconsistent with a few places where the flavor changed abruptly before leveling out again. Incredibly smooth, perfectly made, beautiful presented, this is a first class cigar. I bought a box and got an amazing price, so it was only $12.75 and worth every penny. Have another box on the way and will probably buy a box or two of the robustos. It's worth noting however, that this is a very intense cigar, particularly toward the end. I'm a very slow smoker (1 puff/45 seconds or so) and it took me fully 2 hours to finish this cigar. Wouldn't recommend it for a novice smoker unless you know what you're getting into. otherwise, save it for a special occasion because it's truly of a kind.

Review Notes: this cigar as we all know is expensive and i have always noticed them in the local cigar shops i visit and have never really bought one due to the fact that they are 20 dollars plus. well it was my best freind birthday and i bought one to celebrate. and it was defintely a great cigar and recomment it to anyone for a special occasion.
