Review Notes:I read and heard so many great things, but found the cigar lacking flavor...maybe it was more mellow than I anticipated.

Review Notes:to me, i found too many similarities to the champagne series. after roughly the same aging period (14 months), I think the champagne series actually overtook the ESV in terms of flavor. Construction has always been reliable. Both have delicate wrappers and are nice values if you know where to look. If you can get the champagne series for a buck or so a stick cheaper, why not. there are very similar.
Review Notes:simply put, one of the best cigars i have ever smoked. From construction, to appearance, to draw, to refined smooth taste, this was a great kick back cigar.

Review Notes:Great smoking experience. The construction is flawless. The flavor is bold with some complex undertones. Good base of Burnt Oats, with some undertones of watered down coffee and some citrus

Review Notes:This is the torpedo, according to what I've read. The store I buy these from doesn't have the boxes labeled with Perdomo's idiotic names ... Nick .. some advice .... stick to names like torpedo, corona, robusto, etc. instead of making up new names to inflate the cigar's delicate pysche. In any case, much like the corona ... er ... Imperio, the construction on these is excellent; I expect the burn would improve with some humidor time but it is acceptable, no need for touchups. These are kept in my local B&M in the same cabinet humidor as the VSGs and Padron annys. I don't know if these would ever achieve the same status as the others, but I'll reach for one of Perdomo's ESVs 10 times out of 10.
