Review Notes:
The 5-pack I bought seem to be all different cigars, some loosely filled with many soft spots, some very tight on the draw. The one I'm smoking now is a sloppy cigar, too loosely filled and crudely rolled. It never should have left the factory. It also recquired many touch-ups and threatened to go out on me several times. OK, on to the flavors. This is the saving grace for this cigar, with a nice coffee-chocolate aspect along with an earthy flavor. Oh, I forget to say that this is the maduro version. For a cigar that is said to have all the components grown in one "lot", I find them to be all over the place in regards to their quality control. The maduro robusto was exl., while these churchills are a bit of a dissapointment. I don't see any more of these in my future.

Review Notes:
Nice leather-looking wrapper & solid feel. An average burn as it gets uneven but doesn't create any problems. Solid but light-gray ash. Flavor throughout is predominantly plain tobacco with grassy notes. Draw is too light for the size & requires stoking to get a good volume of smoke. Probably best suited for smoking while working on the car or mowing the lawn, or for handing out to in-laws or drunk poker buddies. Over-priced at $4.49.

Review Notes:
Although I typically enjoy a fuller bodied cigar this baby was absolutely enjoyable and classy.
Wrapper was a medium brown color and a bit rough and veiny. Texture and feel was light, but quite solid with just a slight sponginess. Superb construction.
Stated off with mild vanilla cream notes with hints of spice and nuts. When it comes to a "creamy" taste profile this to me is the benchmark. Smooth, velvety and round. Overall flavors leaned toward the mild side but became a tad more assertive toward the last half.
Burn was strong and consistant. Just a couple of minor touch-ups needed. Held a strong and long slightly flakey light gray ash.
If I'm in the mood for a milder, easy-going cigar I'd go back to this one in a second.

Review Notes:
Smooth leathery wrapper with a beautiful band make this one great looking stick. Construction is top notch as well: perfect draw, ample oily smoke, razor-sharp burn, excellent ash. Unfortunately the flavor missed the mark for me. It wasn't bad, just not my prefered profile: straight tobacco, some wood & just a bit of cream. Consistent, not complex, short finish, virtually no aftertaste, mild/medium body and mild strength.
