Review Notes: In the past 2.5 years these have become more mellow and creamier. Still medium spicy with a full flavor. It's fun to go into your stash and find an old favorite that is aging well. Due to the great blends that have come out in the past 2.5 years I can only rate this a 7 in the taste dept. now.

"1999 Vintage Rosado"

Review Notes: This is such a fine cigar, I really want to review it, and this is the closest category match I could find. This is a Perdomo La Tradicion Cabinet Series X torpedo, rosado wrapper. Very good roll, draw, and burn. The wrapper is a very pretty reddish clay type color, almost in the class of the CAO Millennium. It is silky smooth to the touch, and one of the very few wrappers I have ever seen with no veins. Medium body, with a silky smooth and leathery, buttery texture of smoke. A complexity of delicious flavors. Coffee and cocoa, bread and nuts, fruits and various spices all come together in a memorable taste treat. Easily in my top ten favorites. Eight years in my humidified closet, and they have not lost a bit of flavor, and just keep getting better and better. Absolutely delightful.

"It takes a while."

Review Notes: You gotta love it. You buy a pretty good cigar or ten and you know they're not as good as they will be. Your patience is tested for the first couple of months and the next thing you know it's been 15 months and you have a very good cigar on your hands. Full body and flavor, sometimes bordering on harsh, but I like it. It really starts to gel after the first third. A great combination of strength and flavor proves it doesn't have to be one or the other. I remember now why I gave it a 9 in flavor on my first review. I'm not the biggest Perdomo fan but this is a good one.

"Love the big size, great flavor"

Review Notes: I normally don't smoke such a big cigar. The cigar lit perfectly and had a perfect draw. Perfect burn that lead to complex, changing flavors. It started big and clean then got a little red pepper spicy. That quickly mellowed into a dark, rich tobacco flavor with a lot of sweetness and a long, lingering finish. Great smoke that burned well past 1 hour.

Review Notes: My friend and I both got one of these beauties in the COTM club. He smoked his that day, I waited 6 weeks, the reviews where very differant. He states a grassy, uneven burn. I would say this is a fine 2 hour smoke; with a great burn, toasty, coca flavors and a must for the humidor! So time is everything.
