Review Notes: Got a great deal on these. Normally I am a medium to full maduro smoker, but the packaging and reviews got to me, and I got a 6 pack for a song. Perfect, even burn, smooth and creamy. Great, consistent smoke that is a great change of pace from my normal Padrons.

Review Notes: ToroTom nailed this right on the head. I think that these are actually a little better with less age in them. Mine had also been in the humi for about a year, and what Tom said was exactly right in both the flavor and the profile. It started off a tad peppery, and then settled into a smooth smoke, not creamy, byt not overly dry either. The nuts and wood that he mentioned: all there. I can pretty much parrot his review. It's a decent morning cigar (I finished this at 10:40 a.m.) but not something to really captivate you, as it doesn't really evolve at all; it just stays smooth and constant. Champagnes that I've smoked right off the rack previously, seemed to have a little more zip to the flavor, so I think that the age possibly smooths out an already mild cigar too much. For seven bucks, not a bad cigar. As with most Perdomos, the construction and draw were both very nice.

"Okay Smoke"

Review Notes: A nice looking cigar -- a smooth CT shade wrapper that promises more than it can deliver. It's not bad, just a little prosaic for my taste. There's a little pepper in the first quarter of the smoke, but when that dies away it's just a smooth and mild everyday kind of cigar. The wrapper contributes a nutty, slightly floral aroma and the core is mostly dry wood. Nothing to get excited about, but a quality cigar nevertheless. Mild to medium in body with a decent kick. This one had about a year on it. Maybe they're better fresh?

"Just so-so"

Review Notes: This is the third of these I've smoked from a 5-pack I received a little over a year ago. I keep waiting to fall in love with these, but I don't think its going to happen. While I prefer a more medium to full bodied smoke, it's not that I don't like a good mild smoke from time to time; I really enjoy the AVO #2, for instance. But these just don't do it for me for some reason. Slightly spongy to the touch, I can say this cigar produces tons of smoke. They burn fairly well, although my latest went out on me with about 1/3 remaining, and it didn't hold ash well. To me, the flavor becomes slightly harsh, almost nauseating after the first half. I put it out with about an inch and a half remaining. As the previous commentor noted, these have a deceiving amount if nicotine punch for such a mild cigar, so I wouldn't recommend smoking it on an empty stomach, despite its mild body.

"Very nice"

Review Notes: my very first couple experiences with the champagne series was not that memorable. today however, perhap after letting them sit in the humi for a year, I've found to be quite enjoyable. Contruction was nice, draw a little loose for me, but not a concern. Burn was perfect with clouds of smoke. These are actually stronger than a typical mild, probably considering the ring size on these guys. Try one!
