Review Notes: This is why I smoke cigars: Calm. A good cigar just burns and doesnít need to be babysat or relit or worried over because I never know when the ash is going to fall off in my lap. It tastes good and makes a lot of fragrant smoke that I can see streaming off the end of the obviously burning foot. A good cigar allows me to be transported to other places on the tranquility of the experience. A good cigar brings my muse. And this Perdomo is a good cigar. The only problem I had with it was a bit of a shaky burn, but it found its way to my fingers. It even gave me quite a buzz on the nub. Two hours of a Sunday lost in the fine experience of a good cigar. I canít complain.

"Blah and boring."

Review Notes: A handsome cigar, with a good draw, a slightly uneven burn and LITTLE FLAVOR. I kept on waiting for this stick to do something...anything in the flavor department. Nada. Zip. Just a mundane one dimensional tobacco flavor, and the dimension was not good. I prefer med to fringe of full cigars. I realize this is billed as more of a mild. But even mild cigars will have some sort of flavor profile going for it. Other reviewers scored this stick in the area of 8...it is possible I got a bad stick. This stick had been in the box under primo conditions for about 3-4 months. I am becoming increasingly disappointed with the consistency of quality in the entire Perdomo line of cigars. I've experienced too much disparity in the same two cigars too many times now for this just to be an anomaly. Tighten it up Perdomo! (No wonder I keep scoring Perdomo's so damn cheap on c-bid) Paid 2.50/stick.

"Pretty good Perdomo"

Review Notes: Not too bad, indeed. This beats out the other cabinet series by a mile. Nice and smooth with a creamy, nutty character that is good anytime of day. Great for a relaxing smoke - builds in character from mild to medium with a mild spice, but never gets harsh. Excellent construction. ESV '91 maduro are still my favorite from Perdomo - but this one comes in a close second.

"Champagne Taste...Beer Budget"

Review Notes: I purchased five of these beauties online at CI's auction for $4.00 ea. I had one when they arrived and feel it was a good cigar for the money. I put the remainer in the humidor and let them rest. The other night I decided to go out on the balcony with the laptop and thought I'd have a cigar with my glass of cabernet. Whoa Mama!! I couldn't believe it was the same cigar! It went from good to great and then some. It's mild-medium but with exceptional character. My mainstay golf course/around the B-B-Q choice is the El Rey Del Mundo Robusto Larga but this little number has found a fan. Buy 'em...age 'em...and you won't go wrong. It's not an ass kicker, it's a kick back, relax and be refined kind of experience.
