Review Notes: noticed I did a review for the Belicoso in 2005; I've smoked a few more of these since then. I have to admit, I am not a big Perdomo fan. I find most of their cigars are average at best, but the ESV and this one are certainly their better ones. The Champagne smells like just that--champagne, before you light it up. I really like the vintage golden conn shade wrapper on this thing, it reminds me of the ESV connecticut. Smokes mild to medium bodied with a subtle cream/sugar/honey taste to it. Really a different taste from what you usually find in cigars. This to me I think would be a great recommendation to a new smoker. It's the perfect strength with enough flavor. No burn problems or construction problems to note. Also affordable price is a bonus. Altogether a solid cigar anyone should try.

Review Notes: I don't like the Perdomo line. Haven't found one I liked even for $15 a stick. This one was different and I dont smoke mild cigars. This had some really nice flavor, excellent construction and burn. It is a mild to maybe medium bodied smoke. Better for the early to mid-day, easy on the taste buds. I am surprised but I would recommend these to anyone. They may lack a little punch but still very good.

"Best morning in a while"

Review Notes: I woke up this a.m. and went to my humi, which has over a hundred different cigars stored in their, and this one caught my eye. A beautiful golden wrapper, and I hada slight problem with the cut. Some Nut, cream, and pepper flavor, not very strong. The flavor that it had was mild but this was almost perfect. Mild cigars are usually not for me, but this one displays alot of flavor for its class. Nick Perdomo in my oppinion, which may not be much, blended the best mild cigar with this one. I am a big perdomo fan, love the Lot 23, but this one is knocking on the door. If you are a medium to full- bodied smoker, this is a perfect morning smoke. I highly recommend this cigar. I am giving this all 9's becasue it deserves it.

"Truely a Great smoking experience."

Review Notes: As a newbie/mild smoker, I have been pointed to the Reserve Champagne line by numerous sources. I bought 5 of these and tried them over 2 weeks. They were, each and every one of them, a pleasure to smoke. Aside from the obvious "build quality" of the cigar- the wrapper, the how well rolled, etc, what make the biggest difference in the end is taste, and these taste creamy, pleasant, with just a hint of spice/pepper on my palate. There was no grassy or vegetal flavor, just a lightly oaky, clean tobacco flavor. I had no burn/construction issues, and ordered more, also in another size. If you're looking for a mild cigar, this is a great one to enjoy.
