Review Notes:
The wrapper, indeed the overall construction, is what I have come to expect from Perdomo, and they seem to go the extra mile in producing some damn nice looking cigars. This one falls into the Mild/Medium bodied range, in my book. Lit easily, burned evenly, nice ash and just a pleasure to smoke. This is truly a cigar one will need to spend some time with, and enjoy the savory tobacco/ creamy/woodsy flavors. I have to put this one up in the true premium class, and for a $6.00 cigar, it is a real value for the money. I look forward to finishing the remaining two I have left.

Review Notes:
This cigar is impressive looking and the smell of the wrapper reminds me of the farm days back in Ohio... smells of alfalfa and hay. The construction was perfect and the draw and burn were effortles and even as can be, producing a nice long ash. flavors of wood/cedar and cream throughout the cigar. Try this one... I feel it will please you!

Review Notes:
Got this as part of a "premium" sampler. I was really looking forward to it too. Maybe my humidor wasn't properly controlled or something, but I could not get this stick going. First off the wrapper unraveled right off the bat. Absolutely no pleasure in this at all. Tasted ok on the first puff and downhill since.

Review Notes:
As a newbie/mild smoker, I have been pointed to the Reserve Champagne line by numerous sources. They were, each and every one of them, a pleasure to smoke. This cigar is really well made, looks gorgeous, feels full, and smells terrific! Aside from the obvious "build quality" of the cigar- the wrapper, the how well rolled, etc, what make the biggest difference in the end is taste, and these taste creamy, pleasant, with just a hint of spice/pepper on my palate. There was no grassy or vegetal flavor, just a lightly oaky, clean tobacco flavor. I had no burn/construction issues. If you're looking for a mild cigar, this is a great one to enjoy.

Review Notes:
So you know where I am coming from - I do not like Conn. shade cigars. I find them too mild for my tastes. They taste like paper to me. Recently a friend gave me this Perdomo Champagne to smoke. I lit it assuming I would take a few puffs and toss it. I was wrong. The Nicaraguan filler gives this cigar real flavor and depth and the Conn. shade wrapper adds a creamy undertone. I find it to be a solid medium bodied smoke. I really liked it and now find that I smoke these for a nice change of pace. As with all the Perdomos in this line, construction and burn are very good. This is not your typical Conn. shade cigar.
