Review Notes: These are some very good cigars that I also got on super-sale when they closed out last year. After about a box of them, there has not been a single bad draw/burn, flavor is consistently medium body/strength. Glad I got a bunch of 'em

"Peterson GR a major bargain"

Review Notes: I've been lucky enough to pick up a number of boxes of this winners via several sources - best deals are though one of the bid sites. My favorite is the Toro - a sweet tasting cammie wrapper - it reminds me most of a Fuente Hemingway in terms of flavor - always a nice draw of excellent burn. They start smoothe and sweet and then little by little become more intense. I've also nabbed several boxes of the Churchill and Pyramid and they're less sweet initially but get that same Hemingway-like flavor...and again, always a great draw and burn. At the current dump-price of about $55 for a box of 25 and bid site "wins" going at about $45 these are just a stellar deal. If you have the time for a mid-day smoke of this length they just can't be beat. I've got well over a thousand cigars in my collection and find that I enjoy these as much as any of my other favorites. A real winner!

"Not a Bad Toro"

Review Notes: Unfortunately, ratings such as the previous skew this rating system and take away any legitimacy this kind of forum might provide. The stick I smoked was good-looking, with a solid, medium flavor, full draw and almost perfect burn. My only minor complaint is the slightly flakey ash, but definitely recommend this cigar to any experienced smoker.

Review Notes: It's no wonder this line of cigars has been discontinued and are being offered for arounf 50 bucks a box. My curiosity finally got to me and I orderd a box. What a tremendous disappointment! Terrible taste, burn and appearance. If there was such a rating I would give this mistake a ZERO rating. I've had cheap bundle cigars much better than these. Goodbye Peterson.

"Sweet treat"

Review Notes: A classically toothy and lightly oily cameroon wrapper covers this cigar. It smokes pretty well although the draw is slightly firm, which I prefer over being slightly loose. The spicy sweetness of the wrapper dominates the first half inch or so, but other flavors soon assert themselves--coffee, wood, and another sweet taste which I would describe as coconut although that could just be me. This is not a nubbing cigar as it gets harsh at band-level, but it's a good smoke up until then. It's a shame that this line is being d/c.
