Review Notes:
I happen to be a big fan of Connecticut wrapped, Dominican filled cigars. A light brown wrapper, with very few veins. Just fair construction, which led to slight burn problems, causing an uneven ash at times, but just slightly hampered the draw and the overall smoking of the cigar. Medium body, but so creamy smooth, it leads the smoker to believe it is milder than it really is. Large size, and slow burning, adding to the value. I found it quite tasty, lots of toasty bread, and nuts with a touch of cream. Once again, I am following some reviews complaining of a lack of flavor. So once again, I need to remind the readers of my reviews that I have a rather extensive collection in a humidified closet, and I have been aging these for several years. This may have a lot to do with my difference of opinion, finding this cigar rather tasty. I have seen several good sales with either big price breaks, or bonus extra cigars with a purchase. If you like the milder type, Connecticut wrapped Dominicans, such as the R+J Vintage, Montecristo or Don Diego (which produces these Playboys,) try one.
