Review Notes:
This review is based on one stick...subtle undetectable aroma and pre-light draw, but once lit, I was treated to a very creamy, sweet smoke, with wood in the background...the cream and wood notes worked well together, very enjoyable...coming into the 2cnd 3rd, it tunneled-my experience though overcame it, and once fixed, to my amazement, the burn evened out and was actually razor sharp! (if you are able to catch a tunneler early on, you can apply a good amount of saliva to the spot where it surfaced, then blow out through the cigar periodically for about 1-2 minutes, don't continue to draw during this time or it will get worse)...anyway that's what I did and I was able to get right back on track with enjoying this unique complex smoke...yes very complex, the aroma was most impressive, I was able to focus with utmost scruteny, to name a few aromas: lightly fragrenced citrus hand soap (sounds strange but was delectable), ginger bread, lemon cake, and into the finnish, the aroma was sweet and orangey-a rare aroma to occur in cigars; the cuban Hoyo D.C. has early aromas of lemon, but orange was a new one to me, very nice...as for the flavor of the finnish, it was equally complex...wood got stronger, the creaminess still present, but hanging in the background now, and fleeting moments of esspresso...I nubbed this gar, and the aroma changed again! campfire is how I'd describe it, it was unmistakeable and also new to me...and yes I really experienced all this, from a splendid charmer of a mareva...a classy stick for sure-and worth every penny...if you're searching for power, you may want to look this one over...but if you appreciate a good cigar at any strength, by all means I recommend you try it...it's hard for me to rate the construction, because I rarely encounter a tunneling cigar that doesn't end up ruined...so it gets negative points for tunneling, but a huge plus for being able to smoke it to the nub hahaha...keep in mind I only smoked one.
