Review Notes:
I have smoked 8 from the same cabinet of 50 dated 07.
They vary in terms of construction, one was plugged and
another one had a tight draw. The following review is
related to the other ones for which I will start by saying that
this is an exceptional cigar. The wrapper is very silky and
oily, veineless with a typical Punch light brown color. It cuts
and lights easily, the burn is fairly sharp (some minor
corrections sometime necessary) the medium grey ash is
tight. It draws like a dream producing mouthfuls of dense
smoke. Flavors are smooth and exceptional: spicy
throughout, sweet, with toasted nuts and some earth
undertones and with great evolution becoming almost
strong at the end. 95 out of 100!

Review Notes:
Ok, I know I said I'd wait til I finnished the box to write another review, but this 6th one I just smoked was so incredible I couldn't resist...the way it started out reminded me of a Partagas Lusitania (I've smoked several boxes of those, they're great sticks, and very reliable and consistant)...opening with flavors of rich earth, leather, and slight woody notes with the absence of spice...the aroma was unique when compared to previous cigars of the same box; like a mossy dank wooded area, like the woods in Oregon after it rains...this flavor profile kept through the 1st and 2cnd 3rd of the smoke, then an incredible finnish...it was so nutty...sooo nutty, (pecans, almonds, and brasils...throughout the entire smoke, it was not sweet, but certainly not bitter by any means, it was dry, without cream, and boldly flavored...the woods, leather, and nuttiness was to die for...remarkable...word's cannot do it justice...the aroma changed in the final 3rd, to a very strong muskiness that I found most appealing, again, a lack of sweetness even in the aroma, but this was not a bad thing...dank dank musk, and it changed again when it got down to the nub to a variety of roasted nuts, everything about this individual cigar drove me into a blissfull cigar frenzy, I smoked it much faster than usual because I couldn't resist the flavors...I could not just hold it in my hand...the burn suffered a bit because of my rapid puffing, I'd say that's my own fault and not a result of poor construction...but it didn't take anything away from the enjoyment...this particular experience rates in my top 10 of all time.

Review Notes:
Ok, I just smoked the 5th one of the same dress box, it was great...this one also was very different, but not a dud like the 1st 3...I had heard of these occasionally having citrus notes; I was treated to a woody start, and it soon phased into a deliciously sweet sugary plum flavor in the 2cnd 3rd...then I was hit with citrus, and it was accompanied by STRAWBERRY!?! Strawberry lemonade! it was unmistakeable...I didn't expect it, it was very pleasant...the finnish was once again another fruity flavor, deep dark cherry I'd call it...first it was sweet, then more toward nubbing it it was spicey, but still cherry flavored...a wonderfull unique experience...this box has about 3 years age on em, when I finnish the rest I'll post another review.

Review Notes:
My previous review was based on the first 3 I smoked out of a dress box...the 4th was right on the money! OUTSTANDING!! Woody 1st 3rd....now this isn't your run of the mill typical wooded notes...no, this is a beautifully complex, very tasty wood flavor that is really really nice...2cnd 3rd the already mindblowing complexity was met with rich leather and earth...3rd, this all got stronger in flavor and I began feeling a bit light-headed (I don't smoke as frequently these days), but the power was there this time! I didn't feel anything with the previous 3...the finnish was incredible, leather dominant now, but the wood and earth was still there...remarkable complexity in this cigar, fantastic smoking experience...I only hope that there are more in the box like this one...it's sad to see such an amazing cigar suffer from quality control...I think the most likely verdict is that the roller that put the blends together on this box was terribly off on the ratios of the blend...this 4th cigar out of the same box was definately what it should be...I recall a quote from someone on another cigar forum: "the best cigar you ever smoke could be sitting in a box next to the worst cigar you ever smoke."...while this wasn't the best cigar I've smoked, it certainly ranks up in my top 25 of all time.

Review Notes:
I love the punch punch...that gave me the confidence to buy a box of dc's...I regret it...perhaps it's a bad box (I got other great cubans from the same source no problems)...these didn't have any flavor until I reached the halfway mark...really really flavorless...not subtle flavors-no flavors! by the time I got to taste anything, it wasn't special, just boring woody notes, and they felt muted....very disapointed...and I love punch cigars-maybe I got a bad box...$300 mistake...next time I'll go with the punch punch...btw draw was perfect, but had serious issues with the burn, frequent touch ups, and some were beyond repairability...a headache just trying to keep a decent burn line.
