Review Notes: This was actually my first Cuban cigar 6 or 7 years ago, and I remember it very fondly. I recently acquired a box (May 09), and couldn't wait to try one out. Unfortunately, I picked a plugged cigar. Draw was very tight. The wrapper was flawless nice dark brown not too veiny, and with some nice tooth. Flavor wise, I think it will eventually be pretty good with a few months in the humidor. I could taste some of the characteristic cuban grassy taste and toasted nuttiness that I love.

Review Notes: An excellent medium smoke with cedary spice up front, wood, nuttiness, and hints of foral sweetness. Sipping on this stick produced volumns of creamy smoke. A must try for someone new to CCs.

Review Notes: ...and it didn't disappoint. From what I have read, this smoke is the victim of varied reviews, some not so flattering. But from where I sat, smoking and enjoying the first warm day of spring, this was the cigar I had been waiting for. Well constructed with a slightly tight draw, which didn't prevent me from getting loads of tasty smoke. The aroma was great, and as good as the smoke itself. Notes of leather, and toast came within the first few inches, and caramel came soon afterwards. The spiciness arrived later on in the smoke and wasn't overhwelming, but just enough to give this cigar some body, and substance. This is a well orchestrated cigar, and interesting. I really like it, and am looking forward to smoking more of them. This has moved up to become my favorite CC.

Review Notes: It happened that I was victim of a "tunneling " situation...sadly it was in my Punch Punch, nevertheless the overall experience was great, the woody strong flavor, a supreme draw, and a constant flavor from the first moment made this cigar a must to in my humidor.
