Review Notes: Enjoyed this stick with good flavor that lingered. Pleasant smelling and flavorful. Left a tingle on my tongue. It had a good draw but this one did not burn evenly. Had a good draw and pleasant, billowy smoke. I would recommend to a friend. I purchased five of them in a Honduran sampler of four different brands.

Review Notes: I smoked the Punch Gran Puro last night and found it to be a very rewarding experience. Granted, it was not the Rancho but a puro just the same. The burn was even, the draw perfect and the smoke white and billowy. I was sad to see it end.

Review Notes: I was excited to smoke this puro based on its presentation. It cam in an aluminum tub surrounded by its own individual piece of cedar. contruction was very nice.. dark slight reddish coloring to the wrapper. Slightly loose draw, but good. ash was pure white and razor sharp util the last 1 1/12, then the ash started to get a dirty look. Flavor was very consistent woody, ceder flavor. No other flavors really turned up throughout the whole stick. Burned great, slight bitter aftertaste. Overall i thought it was a good smoke for the price. good addition to the humidor if you enjoy strong woody cigars. I tend to prefer more flors as the burn progresses. but still very enjoyable smoke

Review Notes: I did not enjoy this cigar. It had a nice burn, but the taste was very one-dimensional. All I tasted was an overwhelming amount of spice. I would like it better if there was another flavor in it.

Review Notes: OK, ok, so I exaggerate a bit. Overall though a nice smoke. Won a 5 pack of these on C-Bid for about $3 each. They looked so good I had to try one after only 2 days in the humidor. Beautiful Wrapper on this nice hefty cigar. Construction was very good, Cap popped off nicely with the guillotine cutter. Medium to slightly loose draw, with enough resistance. As other reviewers noted, slightly spice upon light up and for 1st 1/2 inch or so then settled into a nice medium bodied, slightly sweet smoke. Notes of Coffee and toasted almond. Produced gobs of smoke, very pleasant aroma, white ash that flaked a bit but not enough to annoy. I usually smoke Joya De Nicaragua Antanos and La Gloria Serie R's and generally go for full on bold cigars. The Punch Gran Puro Rancho certainly had enough flavor even for my jaded tastes. Some reviewers say the flavor is one dimensional, but it's a pretty good dimension, not of sight or sound, but of mind...a place known as...The Twilight Zone. All seriousness aside, I haven't been much of a Punch fan but I will definitely be smoking more of these.
