Review Notes:
After 2 months rest I decided to try my second ever, Pita. The firm roll produces a razor sharp burn and full draw. Very sharp spicy flavor with an underlying cedary sweetness and a med-full body. As I've said before, Punch is an acquired taste and I like'em.

Review Notes:
The Pita starts very creamy and almost sweet. A little vanilla undertone appears during the first few puffs and the body is medium at best. Slowly it picks up strength and a slight bitterness blends with the afore mentioned flavors. The strength reaches med-full as it approaches half way with more pronounced flavors and still the slight bitterness. Punch is an acquired taste and they're not for everyone. I enjoy them as a change of pace.

Review Notes:
Tonight I pulled this stick out of the glass top of my humidor. It has been ageing for about a year and a half. The ageing process perhaps enhanced the taste of this cigar. While I frequently enjoy the Punch in its oscuro form, my experience with previous samplings of the natural Ecuador wrapper was that it was somewhat rough tasting. This cigar however was lights-out delicious. The wrapper was a darkish brown with very a apparent oilyness. It light up nicely with a pleasant full flavor of soft pepperiness. The prelight aroma was nice too. The flavor was rich, spicy and full without a harsh note. It burned evenly with no assistance from my lighter and was tasty all the way through as I smoked it down to the nub. The ash was very solid and would have possiby hung on even closer to the end if I had not flicked it off earlier. I have enjoyed a variety of fine cigars this week and this Punch would rate 2nd only to the Savinelli Liga Especial that I smoked earlier.

Review Notes:
A rough looking, veiny wrapper, with some blackish blotches. I am surprised it passed inspection, it most likely should have been sold as a "second." The roll, draw, and burn were fine. I thought I may be in for a real treat, because the first quarter was rather tasty. A complex mix of fruit, nuts, and toast. But as it neared the one third to midway point, it became rather boring. Not bad, but just a straight-forward, plain tobacco flavor. At least it did remain smooth and leathery. I will smoke the other four singles, but I will not be buying more anytime soon. Perhaps they may improve some with age.

Review Notes:
The carnel-colored, toothy wrapper on this stick had a off-centered cap, giving it a somewhat rough appearance. The steady, even burn and full flavor were very consistent throughout. I usually prefer the maduro, but gave this one a slight edge. Recommend.
