Review Notes: Pleasantly suprised with this little guy. Oily wrapper that has a nice color and feel. (Nice band to boot) The size makes it perfect for quick smoke situations. Fruity flavors the first 1/4 inch that trailed spicy. This cigar has a long finish so you can contemplate taste. Hints of black cherry towards the end. SLOW DELIBERATE BURN that produces stubborn ashes that don't break off easily. I let this sit for 6 months before lighting up. 30 minutes well spent!

Review Notes: This cigar caught my eye at the pipe shop, sitting next to the Punch Double Maduro (DM) Rothschild. The DM is a superb smoke, and an excellent value, I thought the corojo might be the same. The wrapper was a rough and blotchy, but well constructed, and even a little toothy. The flavor started mild and chocolaty like the DM, but with some underlying bite. I thought I had found a fuller body DM, but at the ½ way point everything started going down hill. The flavor started turning sour, then bitter, and finally I put it down with about 1” left. The DM can be smoked to the nub without ever turning, but this one is only smokeable to the ring. I recommend the Punch Double Maduro Rothschild over these.

Review Notes: Punch is my favorite brand, and this is the best of the Punches that I have smoked! Construction was smooth and firm, one of the prettiest cigars that I have seen. Burn was perfect, and the taste was strong but not harsh. I prefer this cigar, in both looks and taste, to anything out there, including the Opus X. How Punch can make such consistantly good cigars at such a reasonable price is beyond me.

Review Notes: I had high hopes for this cigar given the hype of the newish Corojo wrappers, but I was pretty disappointed. Overall a medium body with a nice toasty flavor and hints of spices and leathery tones, but after the first 2 inches it developed a sort of metallic "dirty" flavor similar to Don Diegos. Very non-typical for Punch.

Review Notes: These define for me what Honduran cigars taste like. They are pretty box pressed, with nice wrappers. Earthy-leather taste predominate. Not a flavor profile that I am in love with, but I do enjoy the smooth flavors and make sure I always have some stocked away. Nice cigars when in the $4 price range, $7 is too much.
