Review Notes: I expected much more from this stick. It was well-rolled, and lit easily and evenly off a cedar spill. Burn was a little uneven, but quickly corrected itself. The flavor was very different from what I am used to in Cuban cigars. It opened up with a typical Cuban tobacco flavor, musty and slightly sour, but then turned very toasty and woodsy, most reminding me of an Ecuadorian grown Connecticut wrapper cigar from the D.R. Not much complexity, although it did become quite spicy during the last 2" or so and had a nice, smooth texture to the smoke not present in other cigars I would compare it to. I think I will buy a few more just to have some around and see what some age does to their flavor. I don't know the box date, as it was purchased as a single. This stick was rather boring and nothing really stood out. I would smoke this after a light lunch or sushi dinner or something. Worth trying, but you can get almost the same flavor experience from smoking a Cabaiguan Guapo, IMO. The bands will make a cool addition to my collection, though!

Review Notes: i cannot understand the rating and reviews given to this cigar.these are like large cigarettes and anyone who judges a cuban by these is being seriously misled.i live in UK and have been smoking CCs for 30 years and can honestly say the fakes you yanks buy on the streets of Havana are better than these.these are rubbish.i am a a geat lover of Cubans and rubbish they put out along with Guantanameras amazes me.if you guys relly want a light sweet cuban buy some Rafael Gonzalez PCs these are a different class.

"Another diamond in the rough!"

Review Notes: What a fantastic everyday stick. It has a fantastic creamy taste that mirrors many expensive habano sticks, but for a fraction of the cost. The only drawback was too firm of a draw. It felt like it needed to create more smoke than it did. However, that does not detract from the overall experience.

Review Notes: If you're looking for an alternative to the ligero-bomb jawbreakers that pass for Cuban cigars these days, have a look at these. Smooth and subtle.

Review Notes: This cigar was a great change of pace, a different flavor profile from other Cubans I'd smoked recently. Mild floral taste with woodsy notes, it burned well under less than perfect conditions, and was a nice diversion from the Partagas and Bolis. Definitely a cigar I'd like to keep a few on hand for when that mood strikes.
